Continuity mistake: When Mai opens the door with the star chips, in the shot of her saying "Voila", Joey can be seen standing next to Yugi. Then it cuts to Yugi saying "At last, we're finally at the castle" and Joey cannot be seen standing next to him. (00:01:33)

Continuity mistake: When Joey is summoned to the field as Flame Swordsman, he turns around to see Giant Yugi. The purple section of the card can be seen behind him when he says, "Oh man, I finally cracked," but in every other shot of Joey whilst he is speaking with Yugi, the card can be seen behind him and it is completely blank.
