Fools - S3-E16

Continuity mistake: When Kent (Bobby Sherman) is ready to leave Station 51, the guys are about to sit down to dinner and the table is full of food, plates, cups, utensils, etc, but when the tones drop for the refinery fire and everyone rushes into the apparatus bay, the table is seen behind them and it's bare. Also, the order in which the guys run out of the kitchen is completely different, depending on the angle of the shot.

Then while en route to Rampart, the ambulance's make/model changes with plate, Z99953, then the make/model changes yet again, but still has the same plate, Z99953.

The Hard Hours - S3-E18

Continuity mistake: After Dr. Early fixes the squad's engine problem, while Roy is driving we see a two-way radio mounted at the top of the dashboard, just past the steering wheel. When the dispatcher calls on Squad 51 to respond, there's a closeup of the Motorola two-way radio/Interceptor units which are mounted under the dash (near gas pedal), and Johnny lifts this mic, but then we see that he's speaking on the mic from the top of the dash. Additionally, in those two closeups of the two-way radio, we can see the gas pedal, but Roy's foot is nowhere to be seen, even though the squad has been moving all along.

The Promise - S3-E11

Zero - S3-E10

Continuity mistake: When Roy and Johnny are climbing the aerial ladder to get to the boy on the ledge, in the overhead long shot we see down below that the Biophone and drug box are placed on the ground, right beside 85's captain. Zero - S3-E10

Audio problem: When Truck 85 raises the aerial ladder so Roy can get to the boy on the ledge, the aerial apparatus operator tells Roy, "DeSoto, up the ladder," and we hear Roy respond, "Okay, Cap." There are two problems here: first, Roy's mouth movements are not in sync with what we hear, and second, Roy is not responding to 85's captain, he's responding to the aerial apparatus operator. The captain is standing on the ground behind Truck 85.

When the paramedics go to the closet to get the turnout coats, the bulging outlines of the mic transmitters and wires are visible on the sides of their shirts before putting on the turnouts. The outline of Johnny's mic transmitter is also visible when he first walks over to the new engine.

Revealing mistake: After the snakebite, when the guys carry Johnny and place him at the back of Engine 51, the chrome spotlights are shiny and reflective, but in the closeups the spotlight near Marco has been partially sprayed with a dulling spray, to prevent the camera's reflection.

Limelight - S6-E24

Trivia: Keep your eyes peeled for the big sheepdog who runs right into the patio door in the background, when Roy and Johnny are with the sitter who's hyperventilating, due to three very obnoxious boys she's been babysitting, and then the look on Johnny's face as he tries not to break character when he turns to Roy and says "Dumb dog." Also, a few moments later you'll see Roy and his imaginary watch. Absolutely priceless.

The Mouse - S4-E20

Question: The old man that comes in with his wife that can't breathe, the one that the head nurse tries to counsel and tempts him with a cup of coffee. I believe he is Alfred Hitchcock, though his name is not listed anywhere. Alfred Hitchcock is known for his cameo appearances in his own shows and in other shows. Can someone confirm that this is him? This is driving me nuts... It is toward the end of the episode, but I cannot give you times.

Answer: I believe you are speaking of the old man, Mr. Wilson. He's played by J. Pat O'Malley.

Bishop73

Correct, it was J. Pat O'Malley...he also played the grandfather with his grandson when their rocket exploded, and also played "Old Bill" in the episode with Ann Prentiss, where Gage saves the little girl from the burning tree house, and her mother falls in love with him.
