Continuity mistake: After Roy's had his arm bandaged in the ER, Brackett points to the treatment room Johnny's in and says he's in 4, and Roy heads there. Then after speaking to Johnny, when Roy opens the door to leave Johnny's treatment room, we can see the treatment room facing Johnny's, and it's treatment 2, which means that Johnny is actually in treatment 1, not 4. Plus the fact that the boy with the heart problem is supposed to be in treatment 1 at that time.
Continuity mistake: When the guy (Michael Conrad) with the gunshot wound is being wheeled out of the treatment room there is nothing on his face, but in the shot from the hallway as they exit the room suddenly he has a tube inserted into his nostril with tape holding it in place.
Continuity mistake: After the cropduster crashes, when Roy and Johnny pull the pilot out of the overturned aircraft and begin working on him, Johnny's medical holster with penlight, forceps and scissor is clipped at his right hip and the other holster's at his left hip, but when Johnny shouts to Chet about giving the victim oxygen, Johnny's holsters have switched sides.
Continuity mistake: When Station 51 is dispatched to an 'unknown type rescue', the woman who opens the door tells them she didn't call, and when Roy asks her if he and Johnny can check on her sick husband, Roy's second shirt button is open and his undershirt is visible, but in the next shot it's buttoned up again.
Continuity mistake: When Dr. Early and Marcia's father stand outside her semi-private room, number 104, we see treatment 4 is right beside it. There are two problems with this bizarre situation. First, when Dixie gave Early the lab results about Marcia's possible pregnancy earlier, treatment 2 is right beside treatment 4, not the semi-private room 104. Second problem is that when Early and the parents walk into Marcia's room, in the interior shots we can see that there's a perpendicular wall right beside the doorway to its left, where the hallway ends. Continuity mistake: At the start, there's a long shot of the Land Rover driving down a long stretch of road towards the camera and then passing it. That road, landscape, and mountains are very distinctive. As Roy, John, and Chet continue talking and driving, when they reach the scene of a traffic accident, Chet sets up a flare behind the Land Rover and another flare behind the pickup truck, then Chet sees a car coming from the direction which the Land Rover was headed. The problem is that the road/landscape/mountains shown earlier in the long shot of the Land Rover, which had been driving from the opposite direction, is the same that's shown here, as Chet tries to stop the car. Then to top it off, when Chet first notices the second car in the distance, it's coming from the opposite direction of the first car, but once again the view is exactly the same.
Continuity mistake: When Roy tells Johnny to call Barbara, who heard something that he didn't even say at the movies, in the view from the kitchen Engine 51 is not in the apparatus bay which means everyone else is on a run, but when dispatch drops tones we hear Captain Stanley respond KMG365, and then see the engine parked in the bay.

Continuity mistake: When Roy and Dr. Brackett are on 127's Snorkel while Johnny is trying to subdue Richard on the ledge, Brackett is not wearing any rings, but after loading Richard into the Stokes, when Brackett is grabbing hold of the basket in the closeup he's wearing two rings on his left hand, which vanish in following shots.
Continuity mistake: When Roy and Johnny are on the roof with Harriet, we can see the shadow being cast by the utility pole on the street down below, and when the police car shows up moments later that shadow has changed significantly. (00:12:40)
Continuity mistake: In the opening scene when Johnny and Roy walk into Captain Stanley's office, Johnny's pack of cigarettes is in his right shirt pocket. As he and Roy are talking in the apparatus bay, the cigarettes are still in his right shirt pocket. When Johnny enters the kitchen after Roy, the cigarette pack has magically moved to his left shirt pocket.

Continuity mistake: When Roy and John walk into Edna Self's house, in her closeups she's wearing a light beige floral robe, but in the shots facing the guys we can see that it's a dark solid color robe that's on the chair. Notice how odd it is that the three are not in any shots together - Edna's not in any shots facing John and Roy, and they're not in any shots facing her.
Continuity mistake: When Engine 51 gets the run in the middle of the night, the engine company rushes to the rig including Johnny, which leaves Roy standing in the dorm alone. After he shouts out to Johnny from the doorway, when Roy turns to go back into the dorm, some changes have occurred - the locker room door is now closed, there are clothes lying on Cap's bed where none were a moment ago, etc.
How Green Was My Thumb? - S3-E17
Continuity mistake: When Roy and Johnny search for the missing man during the fire at the winery, Johnny jumps into the wine vat to rescue the drowning man, getting himself completely soaked, but when he and Roy bring the man out to the squad, Johnny's clothes are pretty much dry.
Continuity mistake: When John and Roy are at the park with the injured football player and his son, the shadows that are cast over the entire area change significantly when the ambulance arrives.
Continuity mistake: While the judge and young lawyer are doing CPR to help, Roy's tearing off strips of tape and placing them on his pants (for IV as usual), then after he asks Johnny, "Were you able to get in touch with Rampart?," in the next shot all those strips of tape have vanished from his pant leg, only to reappear when Roy defibs the patient.

Continuity mistake: At the start, after Station 51 is dispatched to the apartment fire, when a musician asks Captain Stanley for help removing instruments from the burning building, the next shot showing Truck 98 rolling up is footage from 2x13, "Drivers", during the fire at the Atlas Hotel. We can even see the smoke through the Atlas Hotel's windows, and Squad 51 parked across the street. More footage from the Atlas Hotel fire is shown when Engine 16 rolls up. Additional footage from other episodes are shown as well, when we see helmets and rigs bearing company numbers that were not called to this fire.

Continuity mistake: Before they bring in the young girl who fell (with a dog bite), Dixie tells Brackett that she'll set up for her in treatment 1, and after Squad 95 brings her in, when Brackett and the paramedic (Donald Mantooth) leave the room we see that she is indeed in treatment 1, which is beside receiving. However, when Brackett takes the parents to see her, they go through the door that's between the double doors and treatment 2, which are on the opposite side of the hallway from treatment 1. Then in the next shot they're back in treatment 1.
Continuity mistake: When the guys are eating dinner talking about marriage, John's glass of milk is half full in the shot from behind him, but when Barbara calls the station and Captain Stanley answers the telephone, John's glass is nearly full in the shot facing him.
Continuity mistake: After the paint factory fire, when Roy and John are with the lawyer in Captain Stanley's office, Roy's chair is either directly in front of the desk or off to the side, depending On Camera angles. Their body positions change between shots as well.
Continuity mistake: When Johnny, Roy, and Chet are at the site of the traffic accident, during this scene the shadows' lengths - from long, to short, back to long, and its directions keep changing drastically. Such as when Chet stands in the middle of the road, looking in the direction of the vehicle with the siren, his long shadow is cast to his left, but the oncoming vehicle also casts a shadow to its left (even though it's heading towards Chet), then in the next shot that vehicle's shadow has moved to its opposite side.
