Next to it is a full length long green curtain with gold tassled fringe at the bottom. Gordon throws the toy bear through the window, but there is no glass breaking. The tall wooden plant stand now is wrapped inside the curtain, and the golden fringe cannot be seen. (00:28:10)

When West is backing up into the room, as the Marquis says, "Boys!", one of them is now descending down from the top of stairs - no one is lying on the steps or getting up from steps. (00:31:15)

Continuity mistake: Halfway through this episode, West's hands are tied to the bedpost. He frees a hidden knife from his lower right sleeve. The close-up of his right wrist shows two rope strands binding him. When West finally gets the knife in the position to cut the rope, only one rope strand is wrapped around his wrist.
The Night of the Bottomless Pit - S2-E8
Continuity mistake: Towards the beginning of this episode when West is first taken to see the commandant, Cochon goes to the rack on the wall to get West a clean shirt. They are standing by the door where Cochon throws the dirty shirt. There are three pegs on the rack, with a shirt hanging on the leftmost peg and rightmost peg. Cochon gets the shirt off the one on the right peg. As they walk away, West's dirty shirt is now on the ground under the left peg. After the meeting with the commodant, West and Cochon leave. Cochon asks for the clean shirt that West is wearing. When Cochon goes back to the rack to get West a replacement shirt, the shirt that was on the far left peg is now on the center peg, but West's dirty shirt is still under the left peg.

Continuity mistake: Before the first freeze frame, West passes out on his right side with his head resting on his right bicep. In the next scene when West regains consciousness, he is facing down with his head resting on folded arms - his head on the left forearm.

Revealing mistake: When the townspeople spill out onto the town's streets after hearing the noise from the sky, the horses tied at the hitching posts never move nor flinch through the entire scene and are all in the same pose, indicating the horses are props and not real.

Continuity mistake: When amnesiac West emerges from between the buildings, it is dark outside, but when he encounters the cowboy assaulting the woman, it is now suddenly broad daylight.

Factual error: This episode suggests that the presidential order of succession is Vice-President, Secretary of State, then President Pro-Tem of the Senate. It's actually the Vice-President, then Speaker of the House, then President Pro-Tem of the Senate.

Continuity mistake: The opening scene of this episode shows the train moving at twilight. West and Gordon are looking out the window, and it is pitch black. Right before West goes outside, the camera shot of the train wheel shows light (either twilight or moonlight) on the wheel. Character mistake: There are seven mourners dressed in black surrounding Gordon's casket - three on each side and one by the funeral officiator (who is the disguised Gordon). Later in the scene when West is talking to the disguised Gordon, Gordon says, "How do you like that - six mourners..." (00:05:20 - 00:07:10)
