By the time they pull along side, a massive dent has appeared in his door despite not hitting anything in the 3 seconds it took to get from behind to level with the car. (00:01:50)

That wouldn't make sense because the original grave stone in series 4 has Michael's death date as 2005, which is supposed to be at least 3 years after Fox River.
