Suggested correction: This was a common occurrence during the entire run of the show, and it was theorized that the suits had an ability to self-repair to keep the Rangers from more harm. The only Ranger to never sustain damage to their suit was Tommy, since he had the Dragon Shield to protect him.

Yes, it's a common occurrence throughout the show, but normally it shows damage until the end of the battle/morph sequence. In the mistake listed above, the damage disappears between camera cuts in the middle of a fight sequence.

In the final battle between the Red and Evil Green Rangers, Jason shows a black impact mark on his chest, but it's gone in the next shot; maybe the suits do self-repair.

High Five - S1-E2

Continuity mistake: As Bulk goes to start climbing the rope, Jason is standing behind him with his arms crossed and he has on his watch and wrist bands. After Bulk gets back up from falling, Jason's watch and bands have vanished. (00:02:55)

Day of the Dumpster - S1-E1

Character mistake: Zordon begins to explain to the Rangers about their powers and then their Zords. At one point, he says "You need only to turn to the power of your Dino Zords." However, the subtitles get it wrong and spell it as if he's saying "Dinosaurs" instead of Dino Zords which is what he says. (00:10:38)

Suggested correction: It's not actually trapped there. He quickly fails that arm around again, then reaches down into that position to grab his weapon.

Calamity Kimberly - S1-E31

Continuity mistake: During the battle involving the Zords, the Samurai pulls four pins out from his head, two each side, leaving a visible gap. However, this gap is filled very soon after, as the pins have reappeared. (00:16:00)

For Whom the Bell Trolls - S1-E9

Visible crew/equipment: During the big fight at the end between Ticklesneezer and Megazord you can see a child crouching down next to Megazord at one point. It's hard to miss, bottom right of the screen, and he's wearing green clothing. This is due to the original sentai footage featuring the oversized child in the megazord battle and the Americanized version not editing them out. (00:16:55)

Big Sisters - S1-E7

Visible crew/equipment: When Maria gets down off the Megazord's hand to get into the Rad Bug you can see a driver in the front seat despite the fact that it's supposed to be empty and being controlled remotely. (00:15:21)

Teamwork - S1-E3

Continuity mistake: When Kimberley and Trini are fighting the Putties and see the giant Minotaur pass by there is, what looks like, a small child between them. This child is not seen before or after this one shot. (00:11:09)

High Five - S1-E2

Continuity mistake: At the start of the episode, Bulk attempts to climb the rope and breaks it, pulling it down with several pieces of the ceiling coming down on top of him. At the end of the episode, this is suddenly all fixed with Trini climbing the same rope. The same gum and dirty spots are all around the top again with the ceiling appearing completely undamaged from before despite Bulk yanking it free and breaking the ceiling. (00:19:25)

High Five - S1-E2

Revealing mistake: For shows like this, sped up footage can be used for effect on people or items to make them seem like they are going faster. However, in the Command Center after Alpha accident'y zaps himself, he starts to flail around the room rapidly with sped up camera. The rangers move out of the way at seemingly normal speed which would mean they were actually moving slowly when filming to make it appear they were normal. This is a good effect, except the sped up camera is given away by the fact the fluctuating lights on the golden poles around the room are flashing at much higher speeds by the sped up footage, giving it away. The Green Candle (2) - S1-E35

Trivia: Jason David Frank, who played Tommy, left the show in the episode because his powers had been stolen by the Green Candle. However, he had become the most popular member of the Power Team, despite the original plan being just to temporarily have him on the show. Saban received large amounts of letters daily requesting Frank be brought back. The company eventually gave in and brought Frank back in the episode "Return of an Old Friend." He was returned to Green Ranger status in part 2.

Show generally

Question: How many different Power Ranger TV shows/movies have there been? To my knowledge, I know of at least 7 different series, but I think there is more. How do they all connect?

Answer: According to the IMDB, there are currently 10 different series (with an 11th premiering in 2006). And, as far as I can tell, there have been only two theatrically released movies. All of the series, with the exception of the first one (that premiered back in '93) are spin-offs of the original, and they all share similar plot lines, characters, etc.
