Other mistake: After the scene of the family watching Philadelphia at the movie theatre, Peter promises Lois that not a drop of alcohol is going to touch his lips. In this shot, Peter's buttons are on the left side of his shirt instead of the right like they should be. (00:03:39)

Other mistake: When Peter and the gang are watching TV drinking beers, the TV doesn't have any cables on the back. So how has it got power or a TV signal? This mistake was later referenced in "Back to the Pilot." (00:04:16)

Other mistake: After Stewie gets his toy back from the cupboard, Lois and Peter walk into the kitchen. Lois asks Peter, "Since when are you so concerned about our food budget?", and in the next shot of Peter, the buttons on his shirt are missing; then they reappear in his next close-up. (00:10:01)
Other mistake: When Stewie demands his device, he says, "Like a box of active grenades," and she gives it back. The pins weren't pulled, yet he runs and it explodes. (00:18:00)

I Never Met the Dead Man - S1-E2
Other mistake: After Meg is pulled over by the police officer, in the situating shot of Peter driving Meg home, it appears that Lois is sitting next to him in the passenger seat, but it's really Meg. (00:05:30)
I Never Met the Dead Man - S1-E2
Other mistake: When the freezing rainstorm first starts, it cuts back to Peter and William Shatner. In this shot, a woman in the background is running towards the right side of the screen, then disappears mid-shot without leaving the frame. (00:19:29)

Other mistake: When Lois is saying that she'll make a nice romantic dinner, Chris's picture on the wall not only looks completely different, but he's wearing glasses. (00:08:00)
Other mistake: When Chris is telling Peter that he is out of the scouts, pink can be seen through his earring, even though his earring is in front of his blonde hair, not his skin. (00:06:30)
Other mistake: When the family is driving to New York, another red car passes in front of them from the right where there is no road. (00:09:35)
Suggested correction: Usually this would be right, but it's evident by their positioning that Peter is actually driving his car right in the middle of the road on the dotted line and not staying in one lane. This is why the truck passes on the left to get in front and then the car on the right, both also getting centered on the dotted line.
