Visible crew/equipment: After Ross and Monica talk about Emily's dream of the perfect wedding and perfect guy (and Monica's pillowcase), when it cuts to Phoebe and Rachel at the apartment we can see a crewmember (wearing a blue shirt) at the left side of the screen, before Phoebe mentions that she thought of a good flaw. Continuity mistake: When Chandler, Joey and Monica tell their story of the jellyfish bite Chandler says sometimes at night he still hears Joey's voice screaming "Do it ! Do it!". Joey says he yells it through the wall at night to freak Chandler out, but no nights have passed. They tell the story the same day the jellyfish bite occurred. Notice Rachel, Ross and Phoebe are wearing the same clothes they had before they left the beach house. (00:16:20)

Continuity mistake: When Phoebe tells Ross that she wants to hear his "sound", she has her guitar in her lap. The shot changes, she says "Play that funky music white boy," and her guitar is missing. In the next shot, Ross runs out and her guitar is back on her lap again. (00:03:50)

Character mistake: After the guys have beaten the girls in the quiz, Rachel refuses to move apartments and Monica says: "If we had lost, we would have made them get rid of the birds." But they did lose. That's why the guys have got their apartment. She should have said if we had won.
The One With Chandler In A Box - S4-E8
Revealing mistake: When Chandler is in the box and Ross accidentally places his hand over the 'air-hole' you can see Ross feeling for the hole for a while before he finds it. (00:12:35)

Continuity mistake: When Monica tells Rachel what she is cooking, and Rachel says "I really get crabby when I cook" she crosses her arms and in a flash they are on the counter again. (00:06:00)

Continuity mistake: When Rachel is telling Monica and Phoebe about her night out with Joshua the previous evening, Monica is holding a glass of orange juice. To begin with the glass is half full, but then changes to being almost full to the top, and then back to half full. (00:09:00)
The One With Ross's Wedding, part 2 - S4-E24
Continuity mistake: When Phoebe is on the phone to Emily's mum she is making a sandwich. We see her put mayonnaise on it, the shot flicks to Emily's mum then comes back to Phoebe and the mayonnaise is now gone. (00:26:45)
Factual error: In season 4 generally, Phoebe has the shortest pregnancy ever. She gets pregnant as the boys win the girls' apartment. In the next episode Ross meets Emily, after 6 weeks he gets engaged to Emily and they then choose to get married 4 weeks later. Phoebe would only be 10-12 weeks pregnant by the time they fly to London, not in her third trimester.
The One With The Embryos - S4-E12
Continuity mistake: When the friends are talking about the contest to prove who knows each other better, Monica says to Joey "Are you scared?" and Rachel has her arms crossed. Joey says "No" and in the next shot of Rachel she is crossing them again. (00:05:00)
The One With The Jellyfish - S4-E1
Continuity mistake: Phoebe and her mother are in her mother's house at the beach. Phoebe has just found out that Phoebe senior is her real mother. Have a look at Phoebe's mother in this episode and the last episode of series 3 (The One At The Beach). Her hair is a lot shorter in series 4 even though no time has passed in the storyline.
