Kill Bill: Volume 1 mistake picture

Continuity mistake: When The Bride and Vernita Green are in the kitchen, Vernita mentions something like "I've got to fix my daughter's cereal." Notice when she says this, The Bride is holding her mug with the handle facing Vernita, when the shot changes, it is instantly facing The Bride - something which cannot be achieved this quickly.

Three Amigos (1986)

Revealing mistake: During their first confrontation with El Guapo, the Amigos start riding around and firing their guns in the air. Look at the difference in speed between the wider shots (with stunt doubles) and the closer ones, which show the actors themselves. Not only are they suddenly moving much slower in these closer shots, but it so very obvious that they are on mechanical horses by the movement.

The Last Samurai (2003)

Revealing mistake: During the final battle, some samurai horsemen are lighting hay panels to create a smokescreen. At one point a horseman rides past two of them without touching them with the torch at all, and they still catch fire. Moreoever, they start to burn from the bottom, not where the flame could have touched them (which of course it didn't).

The Last Samurai (2003)

Continuity mistake: On his way to rescue Katsumoto, Algren is confronted by four or five armed men. If you look closely, you can see the armed man in the top left corner draws his sword twice.

The Last Samurai (2003)

Continuity mistake: When Algren is packing to leave, Colonel Bagley picks up the note that the young boy had written for Algren. In the close up, you can see the paper is light blue at the top and a light pink at the bottom. When Algren takes it from him and smooths it out, it is suddenly all light blue.

Eraser (1996)

Factual error: When Arnie shoots out the cockpit window, first of all the glass seems about as thick as a Coke bottle which in reality it isn't. Secondly it shatters like one, not like the modern safety glass which it would be made of. (00:56:20)

ER (1994)

Night Shift - S3-E11

Continuity mistake: When Carter and Doyle are running down a corridor to the patient having a heart attack, the camera follows them along the floor and you can see several coloured lines going down the hall. After we see this, they burst through a double door, and if you look behind them you cannot see these lines anymore; they've simply vanished.

Troy (2004)

Continuity mistake: When the Greeks are at Troy's walls during the fight scenes the shadows cast keep changing direction. For example, when they charge Troy at night, in one shot as they run outside the city walls their shadows are cast to their right, but in the wide shot it's cast directly in front of them. Troy (2004)

Continuity mistake: When Hector stops Helen from leaving during the night, her cheeks and the area around her eyes are both very red, and her eyes are tearful with tears down her cheeks. In the shot from behind her, when she briefly turns round her cheeks are not red or wet and though her eyes are teary, they are not as teary and red as the shots facing her. (01:01:45)

Monster (2003)

Continuity mistake: Just after they have trashed the red car, Lee and Selby go into the bedroom of the motel and Selby sits on the bed. Lee opens the wardrobe and then starts talking to Selby. If you look closely, you can see the door she opened is sometimes fully open, half open or closed, especially as there seems to be a metallic rack on the inside of it which makes it quite obvious when it's open. (01:13:20 - 01:14:10)

Continuity mistake: When Jim and Kate are talking on the train near the start, there is a point halfway through a sentence where Kate's arms go from being folded, to being straight in front of her - instantly. (00:05:55)

Barry Lyndon (1975)

Continuity mistake: In the scene when Barry interrupts the meeting of Nora and Captain Quin, the direction of the light source changes several times, indicating repeat takes.

King Ralph (1991)

Factual error: There are numerous references made to the Finnish Royal Family, and they even make an appearance. Only problem is, Finland doesn't have a Royal Family.

King Ralph (1991)

Audio problem: Apparently, Ralph's surname was changed at the last minute from the British Royal Family surname of "Windsor" to "Windham." There are several points in the film, where there is a lip-sync problem, due to the differences of the name, because it has been dubbed.

David Mercier

Factual error: The mounted machine gun fires far too many shots for the limited supply of ammo it has in the box attached to it.

David Mercier

Revealing mistake: When the ice-cream van is being shot at the end of the film, for a single shot you can see the driver sitting in it.

David Mercier

Factual error: The rocket launcher that is used on the big yellow plough is a single shot M1A1 L.A.W. (Light Anti-tank Weapon). However, the woman then picks it up and fires it again. It could not have had another rocket in it, and reloading it takes much longer than the few seconds between firings in the film. Plus Joey didn't connect the firing clip to the trigger mechanism, as would be needed.

David Mercier

Continuity mistake: The hot knives that are set up in the King Lear scene towards the end of the film are sometimes smoking and sometimes not depending on the shot.
