The Net (1995)

Continuity mistake: Just before the guy crashes the plane into the towers, he reports his height as 1,300 feet. There is an almost instant look at the console in front of him and you can see the altimeter is saying he's at 700 feet. Whatever the hackers can change (they seem to change his GPS system reading) they cannot change this which relies on sensors mounted in the plane itself.

Diatribe of a Mad Housewife - S15-E10

Continuity mistake: During the "performance" at the end of Marge's book, "Ned" is skewered by a harpoon and falls off the cliff. When "Homer" walks up to the cliff edge you can no longer see the rope trailing from the end of the harpoon. However, moments later he gets his leg caught up in it and is pulled over himself.

Bart Carny - S9-E12

Continuity mistake: Up until the point at which Skinner starts throwing rings at the block in front of the Spanish lamp, the block simply doesn't exist. It only appears once he starts throwing the rings.

Bart Carny - S9-E12

Continuity mistake: At dinner when the carny dad is doing his cigarette trick, the shot changes to Bart and Lisa and they have piles of food on their plates. About 10 seconds later Marge gathers the plates up and there is nothing on them. Are we to believe that they ate all this food in such a short space of time?

The Guru (2002)

The Guru mistake picture

Continuity mistake: Near the start, the man's mother puts a yellow dot on his head (just before he gets in the taxi), right in between his eyebrows. After the older woman has kissed him, it suddenly changes to being white and is suddenly a line which goes further up his forehead. And when she kisses him she doesn't touch it so the change can't be put down to her smudging it.

About a Boy (2002)

Continuity mistake: In exactly the same scene that the remote control mistake occurs in, you can see that when Hugh Grant gets up and the shot changes his beer bottle has suddenly changed position from the last shot.

Continuity mistake: During the fight with the skeletons, just before the first Argonaut is killed, he is about to climb a ledge and puts his sword down. Once he has been stabbed the shot changes, and you can see the sword is no longer on the ledge where he put it.

Continuity mistake: When Talos is holding the Argo at least 100 feet in the air, we are treated to several shots of men falling out and you can see the boat is still sitting on the water.

Two Bad Neighbors - S7-E13

Continuity mistake: Just before Marge tries to sell Skinner the tie rack, she is writing on something. She then puts her hands down by her waist, and then brings one up to turn it on and both up to pull the motor out. The point is that the pencil and the item she had in her hands have simply vanished, and we never saw her put them down either.

Mountain of Madness - S8-E12

Continuity mistake: When Mr Burns and Homer first enter the cabin, you can see the door opens with a door knob which is on the right hand side (looking from the outside). Later, after the avalanche, the door seems to open a different way, the knob has been replaced by a handle and it's on the other side.
