Plot of Fear (1976)

Other mistake: When the former pimp brings fresh flowers for Rosa's tomb, the gravestone says she died in 1972, but both the inspector and his colleague said on separate occasions that the murder happened 4 years before - and the movie is set in 1975 and at the exact same day of her death. Other mistake: Mateo shows the tram ticket to Maggie; date and time (March 3, 2016, 13:23) are not valid to prove an alibi for a murder happened at the end of February at quarter to 1 pm - not when the person said that they already were at the location where the tram supposedly took them. Don't Say Goodbye - S1-E15

Other mistake: Twice in the episode it is explicitly said that Magnum's phone has been disconnected, and that Higgins checked with the phone company. Yet at the end, it turns out 'the lads' chewed on the cable. Surely the phone company wouldn't tell the estate manager that the line has been disconnected for billing problems (so, a well determined administrative issue with proper paperwork done) when it's a wiring problem.

Don't Say Goodbye - S1-E15

Other mistake: Magnum runs away to chase the sniper. A few extras promptly start yelling and screaming despite the fact that from their position they can't have properly seen the victim of the sniper yet (and there's no blood). (00:14:50)

Other mistake: Kyo's father, seemingly dead at the end of KoF94, is back here as sub-boss. In the cutscenes, his name is "Saishu", but in-game (the name under his energy bar when you face him) his name is "Saisyu."

Other mistake: Maggie and the chef sleuth are watching the viral video. The article mentions that a four minutes outburst has been caught on camera, but the video lasts only 30 seconds, contains the full transcript and ends, no cuts, with her that grabs the camera. There's no room for other 3 minute and a half of footage. (00:26:00)

The Complex Murder - S5-E1

Other mistake: Commissioner Selwyn Patterson puts some pressure on Humphrey and the team saying that "a wealthy tourist has just been killed." But Dan Hagen was not a tourist; he lived on Saint Marie with his wife, as said by the fellow oceanographer Jonathan Taylor, and they have a villa. Someone as well connected and nosy as Patterson wouldn't miss the notion of a multimillionaire living on the island. He also says that he needs to reassure the yacht club that there are no pirates in the area, but it was already established by the coast guard that no ships approached the area. (00:12:15)

The Curse of the King Kamehameha Club - S1-E11

Other mistake: When Magnum and TC get to Makua's house, there are several meters in the open between the shack and the sugarcane field. Makua the Kahuna makes it to the door surprising them, but after that, there's just no way two able-bodied guys wouldn't catch up on the short-legged chubby old man before he gets into the thick vegetation and thanks to the fire (none of it showing before) loses them. The scene would have been believable if the Kahuna delayed them in the shack through some trick, or the shack were in the middle of the cane field, but not with Magnum and TC bolting after him right away. The Curse of the King Kamehameha Club - S1-E11

Other mistake: Christine Richards approaches Higgins and Rick; during the sequence, two women wearing a green Hawaiian dress behave quite strangely. The first one stares with a smile into the camera - the actual 4th wall camera, not the one held by Richards' cameraman, the second one pops in both shots and reverses with the guy she is with, in a continuity mistake. Lest We Forget - S1-E10

Other mistake: In a cute scene, the lads are helping Higgins pamper Magnum for his nefarious needs. So one of them drops a dry towel for Magnum on the stone platform he uses to come out of the tidal pool. It's a nice scene, but the stone block is isolated in water thigh-deep for 6'3" tall Tom Selleck, and one the doberman has trouble getting off from - you can see him look at the trainer off camera and then do a very awkward dive at the end. So there's no way that dog could have brought Magnum a towel, at least a DRY towel. (00:17:30)

Lest We Forget - S1-E10

Other mistake: At the USS Arizona Memorial, Judge Caine has flashbacks from the attack on Pearl Harbour, but he can't keep them in the correct aspect ratio. It's footage from a war movie (Tora! Tora! Tora!) but in the wrong proportions, so he's daydreaming of rather chunky Japanese planes. (00:39:10)

Missing in Action - S1-E9

Other mistake: After hitting the "Delta block", Magnum tells Laura about it. The footage that opens the scene is taken from a previous episode, 1-3 "China Doll", around 00:35:00: same girl in orange bikini showering on the beach, same couple walking by the surf (he has kaki shorts and a blue hat, she is wearing orange). Season 4 generally

Other mistake: Joséphine Jobert is a Sergeant (the commissioner introduces her as such at the end of the first episode), but in the end credits of all the episodes before she takes over for Camille Bordey and becomes officially a Detective Sergeant, she is merely credited as "Officer Florence Cassell." By comparison, Fidel was credited as "Sergeant Fidel Best", even not being a DS.

Other mistake: Captain Forsyth is looking at the dossier about The Gourmet Detective; the interrogation happens in the evening with everyone still dressed for the formal dinner, but the file was printed at 9 AM. There's no reason why the police would have printed that file at that time of the day. (00:23:15)

The Ugliest Dog in Hawaii - S1-E8

Other mistake: At the end of the episode, Zeus and Apollo are in a cage, and it is explained that it's because of sir Algernon's presence, due to Magnum's decision. It makes for a humorous finale, but does not make any sense; it's sir Algernon that has to be isolated for the 4 months quarantine, and an earlier segment implied that a fence had been built for him, as he needed to be limited in movements to avoid contact with the ocean and everyone on the estate.

Other mistake: The wall calendar in the hospital background during Story mode has a total of 23 days in the month.

The Ugliest Dog in Hawaii - S1-E8

Other mistake: During the short action sequence with Magnum scaring off Steve and Mitch before collapsing, the lights go off for unexplained reasons; Mitch already ran off and past the guard, so he couldn't have switched them off, and in the fight nobody knocks lights down or bumps into switches. That aside, there's also an odd timing on the noise of the syringe falling, since neither Magnum or Steve appear to hold it in hand and Magnum punched free earlier. (00:12:10)

Skin Deep - S1-E6

Other mistake: Erin at the beginning of the episode records her acting using a camera on a fixed support. She gets interrupted once. She resumes then. The camera angle is different, and then simply changes (as it's made clear by Magnum rewatching later the actual tape) without anyone else operating the camera.

No Need to Know - S1-E5

Other mistake: The photographer takes shots of the Brigadier on the balcony. The Brigadier is wearing a shirt and pants, fairly casual as expected. When Hooker is left alone in the dark room of the terrorist, he is looking at pictures of the Brigadier wearing a white jacket and bowtie, which is the outfit he will wear at the party several hours later.
