Game Night (2018)

Continuity mistake: At Brooks' house, when Sarah makes a joke about Ryan believing in "everything he reads", she goes from smiling to pouting instantly between cuts.

Chucky (2021)

Trivia: "Child's Play 3" director Jack Bender ran into showrunner/Chucky creator Don Mancini while the show was in production. Bender asked Mancini how much more realistic Chucky would be, given 30 years had passed since his movie. Mancini shocked Bender by explaining that fans had made it clear they loved Chucky's classic simple, jerky movements since they were inherently more doll-like, and didn't want him to "evolve" too much. So they purposely used simple effects so he wouldn't be "too realistic."

Game Night (2018)

Continuity mistake: When Max and Annie are kissing and talking about having kids on the plane, the way they are holding each other changes instantly between shots a few times. (Ex. In some shots, Max's hands are on Annie's shoulders, while in other shots, he's holding her face, etc).

Continuity mistake: The size, shape and location of the smear of blood on the Bulgarian's forehead changes slightly a few times from when he wakes up to the point he is knocked out again a few minutes later.

Game Night (2018)

Continuity mistake: When Max is telling Annie about his plan to crash the car into the plane, Annie goes from facing sideways at Max to facing forward instantly between edits.

Game Night (2018)

Continuity mistake: When Gary is explaining that he set up the kidnapping, throughout the scene, the directions the various characters are facing and the positions they are standing in change repeatedly between shots depending on the angle.

Game Night (2018)

Continuity mistake: The two streaks of "blood" coming out of Gary's mouth change size and position repeatedly throughout the remainder of the scene after he is "shot" by the kidnappers. (Sometimes the streaks are thinner... sometimes thicker... sometimes close together... sometimes further apart... etc. It depends on the camera angle).

Game Night (2018)

Revealing mistake: When Max and Annie are driving the car towards the Bulgarian's plane, there are a few exterior shot of the car, and you can blatantly tell that "Annie" is a stunt performer in a bad wig. Her head and especially hair look MASSIVE in these shots, compared to how small her head and hair usually are. (It's especially noticeable in the shot that's following the car from behind).

Game Night (2018)

Continuity mistake: When Annie points to the bridge and says "There it is! Fourth street!" her arm is lifted and pointing to the window. The scene then cuts to Kevin, and you can see in the background that Annie's arm has instantly gone down between cuts.

Game Night (2018)

Continuity mistake: After Sarah and Ryan have their awkward moment in the back of the car, it cuts to Max and then Kevin. Sarah is in the background of both shots. In the shot of Max, we see her brushing her hair with her hand and then lowering her hand into her lap. Then, when it cuts to Kevin, suddenly Sarah is brushing her hair with her hand again, and puts it back down a second time. The cuts are instant, so there's no time for her to have lifted her hand back up between edits.

Game Night (2018)

Revealing mistake: Throughout the single shot chase (which was actually multiple takes edited together), during a few moments, you can subtly see where the different takes were stitched together. Ex. When Michelle first gets the egg and runs through the doorway, you can subtly see the white door-frame to the left of her "warp/shrink" a little bit for about a half-second. There is also a few moments where the shots don't quite transition perfectly and you'll get a light "wobble." It's VERY subtle but noticeable.

Game Night (2018)

Continuity mistake: When Kevin and Michelle are searching the bedroom and Kevin starts grilling Michelle on the "celebrity" she slept with, Michelle goes from facing the bedside table to facing Kevin instantly between cuts.

Game Night (2018)

Continuity mistake: When Donald Anderton is giving water to his fighter and calls the next fighter in, the amount and pattern of the blood on his fighter's chest changes at least twice between shots. (First his chest is covered in blood... then almost completely clean... then partially covered in blood).

Game Night (2018)

Continuity mistake: In the car, Ryan says the kidnapper sounds like a "monster" and Sarah explains that he's using a voice-change. During this exchange, Sarah goes from looking forward, to looking sideways at Ryan, then back to looking forward instantly between cuts.

Game Night (2018)

Continuity mistake: The T-shirt max uses to clean the blood of Bastian is COMPLETELY covered in blood... until he unfolds it and sees the picture on it, at which point suddenly about 60% of the blood suddenly vanishes from it. It's still bloody... but nowhere NEAR as blood as it was a few seconds prior. (They obviously switched out the shirts between takes).

Game Night (2018)

Continuity mistake: When Max is trying to clean the blood of Bastian the dog with the T-shirt, the amount of blood on Bastian's fur changes slightly depending on the angle. In the profile angle, there's slightly more blood, and in the over-the-shoulder angle, there's slightly less blood. (Most likely the angles are from different takes where they re-applied the fake blood to the dog and it didn't quite match 100%).

Game Night (2018)

Continuity mistake: When Max first reaches down to Bastian the dog in the office, Bastian has his face pressed to the ground and is licking the blood stain. The scene cuts to a profile angle, and suddenly, Bastian's head is no longer pressed to the ground, and is instead lifted almost all the way up.

Game Night (2018)

Question: Was any of the movie shot on film? IMDb has Arri and RED digital cameras listed, but there are couple scenes (especially early on) that seem to have noticeable graininess that looks much more like traditional film grain than the digital "noise" you sometimes get in modern movies.

Game Night (2018)

Audio problem: When Max is biting down on the squeaky toy during the bullet extraction scene, the way the toy squeaks doesn't really "match" with his biting. Those types of toys wouldn't let out comically long squeaks like that from a single bite down. (Obviously it was exaggerated for comedic effect).
