Question: When Jean says hi to Logan when he returns why does Rogue just look straight at Storm like she's teasing them?
Answer: Logan and Jean have a history- Logan specifically loves Jean and expressed his affections towards her in the past, and Jean feels some love towards him but can't act on it because of her relationship with Scott. As Rogue and Logan are also very close, it seems to be subtly implied that she might be a hint jealous of Logan's affections to Jean. Also, Rogue might feel a tab-bit awkward by their conversation given the circumstances.
Answer: Jean and Logan's romantic affection for one another is a poorly kept secret between the two and is awkward to witness for their friends.

Answer: This is not realistic. The Senator would be charged with conspiracy regardless of where the actual crime took place. Simply being overseas does not give an American citizen immunity.

No, they'd still be charged, but the logistics become harder. Regardless, that's a legal question best suited for another site, not one about movies.

All active members of the US military like the colonel are subject to the uniformed military code of justice no matter where the crime was committed, so how did the colonel prevent the military justice system from being able to charge him?
Answer: You are completely correct. This is a clear mistake, the colonel could (and would) most certainly be charged for his crimes.
Though unlike the movie, it's not up the attorney to decide if a military member gets charged, it's up to the judge advocate general.
Actually it's not a mistake. The colonel is not a member on active duty in the service. He's ex military. He's the one running the contractor group that carries out the senator's dirty deeds.

They're not, generally. Some service members who've served for more than 20 years but less than 30 are or were subject to the UCMJ. Fast Five (2011)
Question: When Dom finds Vince with the chip, the conversation concludes with Vince basically saying how all of them have been negatively affected by everything that has happened and he sarcastically asks Dom where Letty is. How would he have found out about Letty if he was on the run since the events of the first film? Earlier in the film he tells Brian and Mia about his misfortunes and how he ended up in Rio.
Answer: The movies don't follow actually follow in order of each other every time. So you have to look forward in one and see an earlier released one to follow what's going on. That being said, Vince went on the run at the end of the first movie. Then Brian ends up in hiding out in Miami which opens up new characters. He's offered to clear his record and his job. Then the next movie Tokyo Drift you can ignore (doesn't actually fit in for several more instalments. The next Fast and Furious has Brian now being FBI and Dom had fled the country to Panama after the first movie to keep his "family" safe. It doesn't give an exact timeline when Mia contacts him to say that Letty is dead. Given even this bit of context shows that at least a year or most several have passed. So I'm sure that fugitive or not, in this day and age it wouldn't be too difficult to quietly check up on people.
Answer: Word of Letty's supposed death could have gotten to Vince a number of ways. Most likely when Dom or Mia initially contacted him to ask for help they mentioned that Letty had died. Letty was one of Vince's best friends, her death would have been one of the first things mentioned to him.

Question: I recently purchased the soundtrack to Rocky IV and one of the songs is called Man Against The World. The small pamphlet that came with the CD stated that this song was originally going to be in the movie but was eventually left out. Had this song been in the movie, what scene would this song have appeared in?
Answer: Presumably it would have been used in the scene where Rocky and company arrive in Russia. Burning Heart (also by Survivor) was chosen to be used in this scene instead.

Question: How did the throttle lever slip from idle to full power? Throttle are notched, and built to require significant force to move to prevent that from happening.
Answer: It's a complicated answer that the movie somewhat glosses over but in the real life incident this film is based on, the engineer purposefully set the throttle at 100% believing that the dynamic braking system would slow the train. The dynamic brake was not properly set, however and this coupled with the fact the automatic air brake was not applied caused the train to slowly accelerate out of control. Dynamic does not work at the speed they were going in the yard.
It's possible that the throttle lever in the movie had a design flaw that allowed it slip.

Question: Wouldn't Shinzon have had to know where the enterprise is being assigned in order lure them to pick up B-4? Data's brain has a safeguard so his positronic energy signature cannot be tracked. And how did he know a different ship instead of the enterprise wouldn't come to Remus to pick up B-4?
Answer: Long range sensors can show the general location of specific ships (this is part of the reason Romulans and Klingons use cloaking devices). All Shinzon has to do is find a remote planet close enough to the Enterprise that would cause them to be the most prudent choice to investigate. It's definitely a gamble but not one that is made without calculation.

Question: Something I've always wondered about trains in the old west on these unfinished railroads, and this movie brought it to my attention again. It shows the track still being built, and it's a single track for one train, no second track along side it. That being said, before the track was finished there is a train going down it one way at the beginning of the movie with passengers. When the train is taken over and forced to steam ahead out of control, it goes off the end of the track and crashes. Well if this hadn't happened, how would the train have gotten back? It is a one way train, on an incomplete track and stopping at a station to drop of passengers and supplies. How would the train have turned around to go the other way again?
Answer: There are stations in between the ends of the line that allow the train to unload passengers, unload cargo, hitch new cars, and turn to go in the opposite direction.
