Tarzan

Question: Throughout the movie we rarely see Clayton reload his gun. It looks like a twin barrel shotgun. During the final fight between Tarzan and Clayton how could he have fired more than 2 rounds without reloading it?

Chosen answer: Simply put he couldn't. It's a clear mistake.

Question: What could Tarzan's loin cloth possibly be made from? It doesn't look like anything that could be found in the jungle that isn't human made.

Chosen answer: It could be any number of things, including some man-made material that was left by hunters or explorers. It could also be animal skin, either from some beast that was hunted or a found carcass.

Question: How did Tarzan know the proper way to put the clothes on?

1

Answer: Also, he's been thoroughly educated on human customs and society by Jane, her father, and Clayton by that point. Possibly they taught him about dressing himself during their lessons, and he continued to go about wearing the loincloth out of personal preference.

1

Answer: From the picture of his parents. He knows where everything goes, and it's not too hard to work out how to put them on.

Question: I never understood what happened to Clayton at the end. Did he, along with some of his men, escape?

Answer: He was hung by the vine. He fell and it went tight and snapped his neck off screen. He is dead.

Question: This ones a two timer: 1) Isn't it breaking the Disney tradition that no evidence of violence can be shown when Kala looks around the tree house and sees bloody paw prints? 2) The bloody paw prints lead to the dead bodies of Tarzan's parents, if Sabor killed them, wouldn't he have eaten them?

Answer: Disney does not have a policy against the evidence of violence, they do, however, try to keep it at a minimum. As for Sabor eating Tarzan's parents, there may have been something that scared him off, even if it was just another animal nearby.

Question: After Sabor the leopard jumps on the net to kill baby Tarzan, it instead launches him up to Kala, who catches him by the diaper. Why does Kala move Tarzan up and down several times?

Answer: Kala, who was on the floor above the netting, was attempting to pull baby Tarzan up through the space around the pole, but it was too small for an infant to fit through. Kala instead pulled Tarzan by his diaper along the slit between the boards to the end of the floor where she could then reach over and pick him up.

Deliberate mistake: When Tarzan fights with the leopard, it scratches his chest. However after they fall into the pit and Tarzan comes out carrying the dead leopard, the scratches on his chest have amazingly healed. [It is a long-standing Disney tradition that no evidence of violence is shown on screen. Still a mistake, but there's why].
