Other mistake: As Buford takes off from the tow truck, a brown piece of metal is seen where there shouldn't be one. Probably for a later stunt.

Revealing mistake: As the truck tips to the left, the stunt driver is seen steering, and appears to be activating the ram to finish the stunt.

Continuity mistake: Indy swings on the vine, and his bag is on his hip. As he gets up on the plane, it disappears, but the strap is on his shoulder again in the cockpit.

Continuity mistake: When Buford's car is buried under sand, the left headlight is gone. Later after the bar, it's back in place.

Character mistake: As the Trans Am goes through the sand area, its sides are caked up with splattered sand. A moment later, and as it stops at the bar, it's clean.

Continuity mistake: When the white cop car is rolling over, the driver's side rear door is open, and ripped off. As it settles, the door is back in place.

Visible crew/equipment: As the cop in the white car joins the chase, and tells Justice to back off, the camera looks at Justice. As he talks the lighting rig and remote camera rig are reflected on his shades.

Trivia: As Major Zolle digs, Kinchloe tells the other prisoner "You may fire when ready, Gridley!", which the man turns on the water. The line was originally an order given to Captain Charles Gridley by Commodore George Dewey during the Battle of Manila Bay, May 1, 1898, and has been used numerous times over the years.
