The Mummy (1999)

Corrected entry: When our heroes open Impotep's sarcophagus, Evie translates something carved into the inside of the lid ('He has left us a message') For someone trapped inside a coffin while alive he carves quite neatly doesn't he? (00:56:30)

Kara

Correction: Given the fact that according to the script he was buried alive and slowly eaten by scarabs over a period of years, he sure had all the time he needed to figure out a way to neatly carve a handful of letters, didn't he?

The Mummy Returns (2001)

Corrected entry: After Evie has been taken from her house, Rick, Ardeth, Jonathan and the kid run to get the car and give chase. As they get round the corner of the house they all stop running and are just walking to the car. As they have only run a a few paces they can hardly be worn out but since this is an emergency why do they stop running? (00:32:55)

Kara

Correction: Not a mistake. Rick and Jonathan jumps off from the bathroom and sees that Evy was abducted and taken away by the bad guys. They start running towards the car but the bad guys was shooting towards Rick and Jonathan, they hide themselves from the bullets and sees "Evy" is out of reach to give the chase. Then Ardeth comes near them and they start walking together towards the car.

Band of Brothers (2001)

Crossroads - S1-E5

Corrected entry: When Winters is in his office and Nixon is telling him he's off to Paris, there are three people present, Richard Winters, Lewis Nixon and Harry Welsh. At the very end of the scene, someone says "Second that" but the subtitles say BOB: "Second that." There is no-one in the room called Bob.

Kara

Correction: While this may be a mistake, there is no one that is supposed to be named Bob in the shot. The BOB refers to Band of Brothers. Generally, subtitles like that are not considered mistakes for the movie.

Shrek 2 (2004)

Corrected entry: When Shrek wakes up after taking the "Happily Ever After" potion, one of the women tells him that she's got him a pail of water, then goes on to introduce herself as Jill. She probably went up the hill to get the water.

Kara

Correction: In a fairy tale world where Puss in Boots and the Gingerbread Man also exist, is this really worth pointing out?

Brad

Correction: She even says that she brought a pail of water.

Day 2: 3:00 A.M.-4:00 A.M. - S2-E20

Corrected entry: In series one, there is a scene where Jack is changing his shirt in his office, there are some very visible Japanese symbol style tattoos on his biceps. In series two, when we next see Jack's bare arms (when he is being tortured) the tattoos are no longer there.

Kara

Correction: I haven't seen the episode where you believe that tattoos have disappeared, but I do recall the tattoos. All the tattoos visible on Jack in any episode of 24 are Kiefer Sutherland's actual tattoos so they will be there from one season to the next. Even the tattoo Jack has in season three (identical to Hector's) is an actual tattoo Kiefer has. He had it done for the show because he wanted it to look consistant.

Friends (1994)

Correction: It would make perfect sense for Louis Vuitton to give their new employee, who is moving accross the ocean to work for them, a full set of luggage.

Friends (1994)

Correction: Perhaps that is the reason, but it is not a mistake within the context of the scene that he would put coats in her lap. Therefore it's trivia at best, but not a mistake.

Ghost (1990)

Corrected entry: When the ghost on the subway gets angry he throws Sam through the train. How does Sam stop so abruptly? It's as if he's hit the outside of a carriage and stopped when he should have just kept going.

Kara

Correction: According to the director's commentary, Sam's mind created the 'rules' for the physics of being a ghost, i.e. he had to learn to be able to walk through walls/ doors etc. In Sam's mind he was still bound by the rules of the living world which means he would stop when he hit the end of the carriage.

10:00 P.M.-11:00 P.M. - S1-E23

Corrected entry: In the first series, the terrorists give Jack a telephone and ask him to kill the senator before they'll tell him where Kim is. They tell him they'll ring that phone at exactly 10:45pm. When Jack gets to the senators suites it's around 10:20pm, the terrorists telephone shortly after he arrives. For all they know he could still be en route to the hotel so why were they so quick off the mark?

Kara

Correction: It's actually about 10:30 or so. And the Drazens know Jack, and they know he'll do anything to save Kim, so they're certain that Jack will be with Palmer when they call.

M*A*S*H (1970)

Corrected entry: When Trapper punches Frank Burns, look at the boxes that Burns falls into, they are all labelled 'Tampax'.

Kara

Correction: Why is this interesting?

The Simpsons (1989)

Correction: Marge doesn't say that *every time* Disco Stu is mentioned. She doesn't say that when Disco Stu is flirting with her at the ski lodge in the episode "Little Big Mom". The only time I can recall Marge saying that is when she sees Homer's Disco Stud jacket.

Earshot - S3-E18

Corrected entry: In this episode when everyone is in the Library and they find out that Buffy can hear thoughts, Buffy turns to look at Wesley because he is thinking about Cordelia. As she leans forward she rests her chin on the heel of her hand, the shot cuts to Wesley, then back to Buffy and she has her chin resting on the top of her hand (the knuckles), Wesley then goes into the office and it cuts to a shot of Buffy and Willow, Buffy is once again resting her chin on the heel of her hands. (00:20:30)

Kara

Correction: Buffy is offscreen long enough each time to have moved her hand without us seeing it.

The One In Barbados, part 2 - S9-E24

Corrected entry: In the episode in Barbados (part 2) when Mike and Monica are playing table tennis, Mike goes to great pains to explain that if a player puts his/her non bat hand on the table while the ball is in play then the player forfeits the point. Just before Mike wins his game (the second game they play) he stretches to get a shot from Monica and places his non bat holding hand on the table.

Kara

Correction: Not a mistake in the show, Mike cheated and nobody noticed.

Leaves - S2-E7

Corrected entry: Sophie says she's leaving to go to Seattle. It's about 7 pm. Tim asks her when she's leaving and she says 12 the next day, Tim then asks her what she is going to do for the next 13 hours. 13 hours after 7pm is 8am, not 12 noon.

Kara

Correction: Yes, it is - then at 8 she'll leave for the airport. Depending on where she's flying from it could easily take 4 hours to travel and check in for the flight.

Friends (1994)

The One Where Monica Sings - S9-E13

Corrected entry: In the one where Joey gets his eyebrows plucked, after Chandler has plucked his other eyebrow they decide to curl Joey's eyelashes. Chandler puts the eyelash curler toward Joey's eyes and looks, to all intents and purposes, like he is curling Joey's lashes because he stops moving, however, Joey is continuously blinking his eyes. If Chandler actually had put the curlers on Joey's lashes, the continuous blinking would have ripped every lash from that eye.

Kara

Correction: There's no mistake here. Exactly because Joey is so visibly blinking, it's very clear that Chandler is waiting for him to stop before he curls. The curling tool (or whatever it's called) is obviously not close enough to Joeys eyelashes and we are not supposed to believe it is.

Shrek 2 (2004)

Corrected entry: When Shrek and Fiona first arrive at Far Far Away, one of the doves flies into a wall and then crashes to the ground at the feet of the King and Queen, no-where near a wall.

Kara

Correction: The King and Queen are standing underneath the castle, which consists of various balconies and towers - perfectly possible that the wall the bird hit just doesn't extend down to the ground.

Pleasantville (1998)

Corrected entry: When the people of Pleasantville burn the books the fire is in black and white. Earlier on in the film it was clear that fire didn't exist because the fire brigade only knew how to rescue cats. Since fire didn't exist in the black and white world shouldn't the fire be in colour? (01:27:50)

Kara

Correction: Fire does exist, other things just don't usually BURN. This would allow them to have things like chestnuts roasting on an open fire but no accidents. When they first go to school in Pleasantville Jennifer lights a lighter with a black and white flame and waves a handkerchief over it. The book fire is probably black and white because it was lit by the black and white people.
