Trivia: In an interview with TMZ, former Superman actor Dean Cain bizarrely criticized this movie for making Superman "woke," - particularly with Superman being referred to as an immigrant - apparently oblivious to the fact that the character he once played has always been "woke." There was an even an episode of Lois and Clark in which government officials, including an INS agent, asked to see his paperwork, with the INS agent telling an annoyed Superman that he is an alien.

Trivia: The Power Stone was originally colored red for this film, matching its color from the comics, but then Marvel informed director James Gunn that the Aether/Reality Stone from Thor: The Dark World would be red, so they had to change it to purple in post-production.
