Question: After leaving Larry for Dan, why did Anna break up with him and reunite with Larry?
Answer: I think it was because of the offer that Larry made to Anna. He promised that if they had sex one more time, he would leave her alone and never contact her again. The fact that he was willing to give her freedom, is what made her choose him. Dan was more "needy" and pushy, which is hypocritical, because he left Alice based on her being needy.

Roseanne (1988)
Continuity mistake: When a depressed Roseanne emerges from her bedroom after Dan has left her, she tells Nancy and Leon that she wants to turn over her and Jackie's shares of the restaurant to them. She says she wants Nancy and Leon to experience the same sense of accomplishment that she and Jackie felt when they first opened the business. However, Roseanne seems to have forgotten that it was Nancy, along with her, Jackie, and Bev, who started the restaurant.

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (2005)
Question: Just after Dumbledore announces the Triwizard Challenge, there's a short scene where Igor Karkaroff slips into the deserted Great Hall where the Goblet of Fire is kept. It wasn't Igor who put Harry's name in the goblet, and Viktor Krum submitted his own entry. Obviously the audience was being led to believe that Igor may have been involved in the plot against Harry (he wasn't), but what was the real reason he went in there?
Answer: It was Barty Crouch Jr. He used the polyjuice potion to disguise himself as Igor. I believe he did this because he was originally labelled as a Death Eater. As a result, Igor was put on trial and before he was sentenced, Igor gave the Ministry Barty Jr's name, so then he was sent to Azkaban. For revenge, Barty Jr used to potion to disguise himself as Igor so if he was caught messing with the goblet, he would be questioned, due to his past (seeing as what happens at the end). That way, Barty would be remained undetected and could carry on fleeing the Ministry.
I like this answer best. It makes sense.
Chosen answer: There is no reason. In the books this scene does not occur, so the idea behind putting it into the film is purely to mislead the audience.
Answer: Because Igor wanted Viktor to get into the tournament so he put Viktor's name in again so he could raise his chances of getting picked.

The Firm (1993)
Question: Storing incriminating mafia files in a "kitchen pantry" at the Firm's Cayman Island bungalow with nothing but a standard door and key lock (instead of a steel vault) to secure them seems risky, inept, and downright unbelievable. Is this how it happened in the book or was it changed for the movie?
Chosen answer: In the book there were indeed incriminating files stored in the firm's condos in the Cayman Islands. There were two adjoining condos, one for senior partners (where incriminating files were stored) and one for junior partners who weren't yet aware of the firm's organized crime connections.

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (2005)
Continuity mistake: When Harry returns from the cemetery, there's a shot of him lying over Cedric's body. When Dumbledore reaches out to put his hands on Harry's face, Harry's left shoulder is higher while he rests his weight on his right arm. The scene cuts to a rear view, and his right shoulder is now higher. When it cuts back to a front view, his left shoulder is once again in the higher position.

Friends (1994)
Question: It's been mentioned that Rachel attended college, but what exactly did she major in?
Chosen answer: Rachel attended college, but in one of the Thanksgiving flashback episodes she mentions that her major was psychology but there was no parking around the psychology building, so she switched majors. She never says what her new major was.

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (2005)
Question: Why does the enchanted ceiling in the Great Hall begin acting weird when Mad Eye Moody (Crouch) makes his entrance during the beginning-of-the-year feast?
Chosen answer: The ceiling does not really start acting weirdly when Moody enters. The ceiling is enchanted to portray whatever the outside sky is doing, and, as it is stormy outside, it is therefore stormy on the ceiling. It is just a coincidence that just as Moody enters, there is a lightning strike, and he thinks that it is a curse or some other magic spell.
Addendum: in the book, there's a big storm going on (outside), and Mad-Eye does not interact with the ceiling as he does in the movie. The lightning at the same time he comes in is a coincidence.
It's more about foreshadowing for the terrible events caused by fake Moody later in the movie.

The Lost World: Jurassic Park (1997)
Question: At the end of the film, how does the ship carrying the adult and the juvenile T-rexes get from San Diego back to the island off Costa Rica without a pilot and crew? It seems to just sail away on its own. Did I miss something?
Chosen answer: Once Sarah and Ian trap the T-rex back into the "cargo hold", we never see the ship sail away on its own. It couldn't do so. The ship crashed into the dock, it would have taken days for them to free the ship - plenty of time to get a new crew. Notice how when they are watching the TV at the end, how clean everyone is?

Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith (2005)
Question: Why does Yoda choose Dagobah as his place of exile? What is its significance to him?
Chosen answer: It's suggested in the books that Yoda settled on Dagobah because of the Dark Side cave near his home. The presence of a nearby source of Dark Side energy effectively camouflaged his own presence, preventing the Emperor and Vader from locating him.
Additionally, in the Clone Wars show Dagobah is where Yoda must travel to begin his force-ghost training with Qui Gon's disembodied spirit, which is presumably part of the reason he returns.

Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones (2002)
Question: When Obi-Wan is on Kamino, he reports to Yoda and Mace-Windu that Sifo-Dyas ordered the clones ten years ago. When he says he thought Sifo-Dyas died before that, Yoda and Mace-Windu give each other a puzzling look. Why does Obi-Wan think he died before this?
Chosen answer: Either because Sifo-Dyas DID die before this, and another party was simply using him as a cover in order to create the clone army, or else because he turned to the dark side (which the older masters know), but most Jedis were just told he died.

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (2004)
Trivia: During Hagrid's Care of Magical Creatures lesson, just before Harry approaches Buckbeak in the paddock Beaky has a 'potty accident.' Manure is seen dropping from his hindquarters and can be heard thudding onto the ground. This is computer generated— - the CGI artists were having a bit of fun and wanted to add a touch of realism. Continuity mistake: The second time Harry conjures the patronus charm to save Sirius and the other Harry from the dementors, Hermione is standing next to the tree behind him. The first time he uses it, his silhouette can be seen from the other Harry's point-of-view from across the lake, but Hermione isn't next to the same tree, even though the spot she was standing in is visible.
