Stupidity: The guard outside the dungeon door hears the sword fight between Tony and the two guards inside, and tries to open it, running away to get help and returning with men and a battering ram. Why did he not have a key to open the door in case something went sideways, i.e., a sword fight in the dungeon?

Continuity mistake: After Tony and Doug go through the dungeon window, the Earl turns to deal with the guard. The next quick shot shows both have changed positions from the previous shot.

Stupidity: The Time Tunnel technicians send a homing beacon to the dungeon to help Tony and Doug, but through the episode nobody notices the well-lit, futuristic-looking object propped against the dungeon wall next to the door.

Factual error: Major Hoffman asks the brainwashed Doug what unit he is with. Doug answers, "74th Panzer Division." Neither the German Army nor the SS had a 74th Panzer Division.

Factual error: The Gestapo major's office has a picture of Rudolf Hess hanging on the wall. Not likely, as Hess parachuted into Scotland in 1941 and was considered a traitor to the Third Reich.

Continuity mistake: Dr. Kleinemann sometimes has a blue note paper in his left hand or not as the shots change while he talks with Major Hoffmann about Tony and Doug.

Continuity mistake: When Dr. Kleinemann snaps Doug's photo, Doug's face, eyes, and shoulders are square with the front of the camera. Later, when Kleinemann is brainwashing Doug, the picture taken shows Doug with his head turned to the right, not straight on with the camera.

Continuity mistake: After receiving the message from the radio, one of the resistance members levels his pistol at Tony, but the next instant cut shows the pistol held lower.

Continuity mistake: When Matthew and Jeremiah are fighting each other, a damaged empty barrel on a loading dock is knocked backwards, leaning against a wall behind it. The up close shots of the fight shows it upright, but the overhead views show it still leaning against the wall.

Factual error: While firing their muskets at the guards as they rescue the Dauphin, Tony and Doug each quickly discharge their weapons twice without reloading. Muskets are one-shot weapons that required immediate reloading after firing.

Continuity mistake: As General Parker speaks with Biraky in the general's office, McDonnell has his arms folded, but the next shot when the phone rings shows McDonnell with his hands close together and a cigarette in his mouth.

Continuity mistake: When Tony and Doug run to assist David and Matthew by the loading dock, the damaged barrel that was leaning against the wall behind it in previous shots is now closer to the edge of the loading dock.
