Trivia: To avoid suspicions of nepotism (favoritism granted to relatives), since her father was an executive producer, Tori Spelling used the name "Tori Mitchell" at her audition.

CSI: Miami (2002)

Double Cap - S1-E19

Factual error: During their investigation, the CSIs learn, through a number of phone calls she made to her mother, that their murder victim was in the Witness Protection Program. Contacting family members is one of the cardinal sins of WITSEC; she would have been immediately relocated with another new identity, and not left in a city where people who want her dead know where she is.

Trivia: This was the last major Hollywood movie to be released on VHS.

JAG (1995)

Fair Winds and Following Seas - S10-E22

Continuity mistake: The opening scene, which is a replay of the ending scene from the previous episode, is slightly different. When Gen. Cresswell tells Mac she'll be stationed in San Diego, Harm comments "It's only a five hour plane ride" instead of "it's only five hours away", and when Rabb is promoted to Captain, Cresswell briefly pauses at "it's" when he says "By the way, it's a captain's billet", while there was previously no pause.

Ice Queen (1) - S8-E20

Trivia: In one scene, Gibbs tells Rabb that, as an NCIS special agent, he isn't required to offer Rabb any military courtesy. This is actually true: NCIS is the only military investigative agency staffed entirely with civilians, so there is no official chain of command they are required to follow.

CSI: Miami (2002)

MIA/NYC – NonStop - S2-E23

Character mistake: While discussing the death penalty with Mac, Horatio observes that New York hasn't executed anyone since 1976. The last time New York executed an inmate was actually thirteen years earlier, in 1963.

Trivia: In one scene, Callen mentions that he was shot on May 5th. This is actually the airdate of "Legend: Part 2", the NCIS crossover episode in which Callen's shooting happened.

Dagger - S6-E9

Trivia: The manner in which Agent Lee is killed was how Jenny was originally scripted to die at the end of season 5.

Trivia: Since the two-part episode "Legend" is also technically part of NCIS: Los Angeles canon, it makes Gibbs, Tony, Abby, and Ducky the only characters who have appeared on the two NCIS shows and its parent series JAG. Abby is the only one who also appears in a stand-alone NCIS: LA episode.
