Suggested correction: He wasn't asleep, he was unconscious, and woke up as soon as his head slipped underwater.

The Mighty Boosh (2004)

Party - S3-E5

Corrected entry: Chris de Burgh only appears in the 'Spin the Bottle' ring when the bottle stops at him after Howard has spun it.

Correction: That's part of the joke. It's highlighting Howard's immense bad luck that he landed on someone as undesirable as Chris De Burgh even though he wasn't even in the circle to start with.

Fright Night (2011)

Corrected entry: When Charlie's mother is in the hospital, Charlie puts up crosses all over the walls and windows, supposedly to keep Jerry away. However, this was after the scene where Charlie held up a cross to Jerry on the roadway and Jerry grabbed the cross and it caught fire. So, Charlie would have known that the crosses had no detrimental effect on Jerry.

Correction: They do have an effect on Jerry; he showed signs of physical pain when he touched the crucifix, and it only burst into flame because he was touching it. Also, that was only one crucifix, so it's likely that he would not be able to pass through tens of them.

Ella Enchanted (2004)

Corrected entry: In the scene where Char rushes to save Ella from the Black Guards; he tosses her a sword freshly unsheathed. When it changes views for a moment then back her sword is broken in half.

Correction: There is more than just a moment of time between when we see the sword intact and when it is broken. Ella and Char are fighting the guards while the camera cuts away, so there is enough time for Ella's sword to be broken before we see it again.

Firefly (2002)

Ariel - S1-E8

Corrected entry: When Simon is briefing Mal, Zoe and Jayne, his top changes from a blue shirt and waistcoat to a brown zipped top and back again several times.

Correction: Since the scene cuts back and forth from Simon training the trio, it's implied that they were practicing the lines for a long while, and Simon could easily have changed tops in that time without it being shown on screen.

Tangled (2010)

Corrected entry: Pascal is a chameleon, the type of reptile that camouflages. That is, whenever a chameleon blends with an object or another creature, the color it changes to must exactly match with that object or creature. While the depressed Rapunzel lies on her bed after feeling betrayed by Flynn, Pascal obviously appears to be blending with her purple dress, but it's blue at the moment, instead. (01:40:00)

Correction: He's not trying to blend into her dress, he's turning blue because he is sad. He does the same when they are on the boat and Flynn and Rapunzel are singing together - Pascal turns red because he is embarrassed.

Tangled (2010)

Corrected entry: When Flynn knocks the Captain of the Guards off his horse, Maximus, and starts riding him himself, Maximus stops to realize Flynn was on his back and becomes furious. In this scene and the scene where he finds Flynn sleeping in the forest, he shows he's furious, but with the ears still pointing up. A horse indicates its anger by flattening its ears alongside its head and pinning its ears down as far as they can go. That's what position Maximus should have had his ears in. (01:40:00)

Correction: Since Tangled is a cartoon, you can't expect the animals to conform to what animals do in the real world. Real chameleons can't change color as quickly as Pascal can, just as real horses can't sneak around or swordfight like Maximus can. Pascal and Maximus are essentially caricatures of animals, and so there is some suspension of disbelief allowed in regards to what they can do.

Tangled (2010)

Corrected entry: Rapunzel's hair changes length frequently. When she and Flynn are crossing the canyon, her hair is extremely long. Notice how long her hair is after the little girls have braided it. It almost reaches the floor.

Correction: The braid is about a foot thick, so it's reasonable to assume that Rapunzel's hair has been folded over several times.

Tangled (2010)

Corrected entry: During the exposition of the film, young Rapunzel is shown walking down a staircase past a room where Mother Gothel is sleeping. Later in the film, however, it is clear that there is only one staircase in the tower with no doors along it.

Correction: In the exposition, young Rapunzel reaches the bottom of the stairs and then passes the door to Gothel's room; it is never shown on the staircase. Later scenes throughout the film confirm that Gothel's room is on the bottom floor of the tower; although the door is sometimes covered by a red velvet curtain like Rapunzel's.

Galaxy Quest (1999)

Corrected entry: In the beginning scene at the Galaxy Quest convention the crowd is clapping and shouting to see the actors but when they cut to the back of the audience you clearly see the audience are not clapping and shouting, or even moving yet, but the sound of the clapping and the shouting is still there.

Correction: When the actors are being announced, there is only one shot of the audience from behind and they are definitely clapping and cheering.

Supernatural (2005)

Changing Channels - S5-E8

Corrected entry: Gabriel is referred to as an archangel. While that is a common misconception, and while Gabriel was one of the serafs, he was not the archangel. By definition, there can only be one archangel, and according to the Bible, that's Michael. You'd think Gabriel would be aware of that.

Correction: It is mentioned and/or implied in 'Supernatural' that there are, in fact, four archangels: Michael, Lucifer, Gabriel and Raphael. The show doesn't adhere to the Bible as we know it; it takes elements from it but the mythology of the show has its own course. Castiel even says during one episode, "Your Bible gets more wrong than it does right."

Batman Forever (1995)

Corrected entry: At the end of the movie, as Batman plummets to save Robin, the ropes around Robin's wrists change length! At first they're short and his wrists are within just a few inches of each other, and then the ropes are much longer, long enough in fact to allow him to swing his hands under his feet and above his head with no problem!

Correction: As Robin is falling, there is a shot that shows him managing to loosen the ropes enough to get his wrists under his feet. He then stomps on the rope bridging the gap between his wrists to loosen it even further, allowing him to bring his arms above his head and also giving Batman something to grab onto. It requires a little suspension of disbelief, sure, but it generally works.
