Continuity mistake: In the first movie, Bridget's building is standing mostly alone, with no other buildings very close to it (see the first full shot of it: there's nothing on its sides). Yet in this one, we can see several times that there are a lot of tall buildings all around. Same building, different setting.

Sereenie

Plot hole: Bridget is wearing a shirt from Mrs. Darcy (the line about Mark's mother's taste in shirts, which is said while showing BOTH shirts, definitely suggests that - her idea of cuteness for a couple, I guess), which doesn't make sense because the first movie ended on New Year's Eve (we know that because Shazzer and the rest of the gang were taking Bridget to Paris that night to celebrate the New Year, but Bridget ended up with Mark - unless the movie take place a year later, which it doesn't, it takes place the next day). Consequently, there is no way Mrs. Darcy would have known about Bridget and Mark in time to get her a shirt too and offer it to her. Mark couldn't have brought it to Bridget, because she arrives alone at her mother's New Year's Day turkey curry buffet; Mark is already there, wearing the shirt his mother gave him, which suggests they split ways that morning, after their first night together.

Taxi (2004)

Trivia: This is a remake of a very successful series of French movies, also called "Taxi". Queen Latifah's character was originally a man, and her Ford was a Peugeot.

Van Helsing (2004)

Factual error: Part of the "Wanted" poster in France reads "2,000 francs de récompence." 1) numbers are not written with a comma in French, but with a space (i.e. 2 000); 2) "reward" in French is spelled "récompense," not "récompence." (00:07:35)

Factual error: Jason's Canadian passport has been issued in 1993 and expires in 2003. Canadian passports at that time were only valid for five years. 10 year Canadian passports were only introduced in 2013.

The Hot Chick (2002)

Continuity mistake: In the strip club scene and after, the skirt that Jessica's body wears disappears when she turns back to a man (see when he's going to the police car), then reappears later, when he is trying to stop the car in the street.

The Village (2004)

Trivia: The newspaper read by the park guy towards the end is dated Friday July 30th, 2004, the day the movie came out.

Sereenie

Character mistake: At the beginning of the movie, during "Provincial Life", we see a fat lady trying on a hat in a hat store. The sign over the window, in French, reads "Chapeau" (hat). The correct way to identify that store would have been "Chapeaux" (hats) or "Chapelier" (hatter).

Sereenie

Continuity mistake: Throughout the movie, the hour and minute hand that make Cogsworth's moustache keep changing sides, sometimes from one shot to the next, for example, when he makes Belle visit the castle.

Spider-Man 2 (2004)

Other mistake: When Spider-Man and Mary Jane are sweet-talking in the web, her hair blows around freely, whereas considering how sticky a spider web is, her hair should be sticking fast to it. Permanently. After all, the web cannot be sticky enough to hold her body, while not being sticky enough to glue her hair.

Spider-Man 2 (2004)

Factual error: Considering the brightness of the fusion process, Dr. Octavius has to wear special goggles to be able to see it. Yet no one else in the room is wearing such goggles or seem hurt by watching the whole process, just as at the end of the movie. When welding something, no one can look at the arc that's created, as it would hurt his eyes and burn his retina; presumably, the fusion process would be brighter and more powerful than that, and so should have some kind of damaging effect on everyone's eyesight (except Spider Man's, maybe).

Spider-Man 2 mistake picture

Continuity mistake: At the end of the "I've changed" conversation with Mary Jane, the taxi is right next to her as she turns towards it (you can see its roof next to her face), yet in the very next shot she has to cross the street to get to it.

Sereenie

Other mistake: A huge majority of the crew listed in the first half of the credits are French Canadians, their name spelled properly, accents and all. As seen in the UK, all the times "è" should have been written, it was replaced by a "Ø", for example HélØne and LafreniØre. Very noticeable when you know about it, and most probably caused by a sloppy conversion between two software, and no one proofchecking the credits before putting the movie out. Maybe fixed for home release.

Two Weeks Notice (2002)

Audio problem: At the divorce hearing, Lucy gets water thrown at her and turns around stating repeatedly, "Water up my nose.". When she says that, her mouth/jaw doesn't move at all. That is not due to her being turned away from the camera, as just after, while she says something else, her mouth/jaw *can* be seen moving. (00:22:55)

Ever After (1998)

Question: Does Jamie leave her at the end, after seeing her kissing outside, or will he always be there with her without her knowing it?

Sereenie

Chosen answer: I've always assumed that Jamie does indeed leave, going on to wherever he's going on to. My read of the story is that Jamie has come back to help her move on with her life (whether he knows that himself is unclear). As she has begun to move on, he himself can now go to whatever awaits him.

French Kiss (1995)

Continuity mistake: When Kate comes out of the bathroom after taking her shower in Cannes, she has thick eye shadow on. That's some shower she's had...

Suggested correction: Her hair is also dry and styled. It's obvious that she did her hair and makeup before leaving the bathroom.

French Kiss (1995)

Factual error: Kate and Charlie live in Toronto. When we first see them in their car, at the beginning of the movie, it has no license plate in the front. In Ontario, cars are required by law to have a plate in the front as well as in the back. While some jurisdictions may be lax in applying their two-plates law, Ontario isn't.

Revealing mistake: Jack did not rip Elizabeth's corset, as the sound effects suggest: the bustier's hooks were all already undone, and he just pulled the different pieces aside. (00:16:15)
