Visible crew/equipment: When Bond is being led into the Bazaar in Istanbul spot the crowd being held behind a barrier.
Continuity mistake: When Kerim Bey is making a sniper shot towards a billboard with the rifle being steadied on Bond's shoulder, check out Bond's eyebrows - they are long in one shot, short in another....obviously painted on. (00:49:05)
Continuity mistake: When Grant hits 007 on the back of the head with his gun, he falls onto his back about six inches away from the seat, but in the next shot 007 is lying on his right side and his face is right up against the seat.

Visible crew/equipment: In the scene where Tatiana first meets Rosa Klebb in Istanbul, the hand of a crew member is seen closing the door behind Tatiana when she enters the room (from the other side of the door - not the side Tatiana and Rosa are on). (00:14:50)
Visible crew/equipment: In the boat chase, the director's waving hand can be seen reflected in the windshield of Bond's boat at several points. (01:43:00)
Other mistake: When Tatiana enters Bond's room, he is about to take a shower. He never goes and turns it off. (00:51:10)
Suggested correction: How is this a movie mistake? A trained spy with a license to kill hears a noise in his hotel room, and he goes to investigate. Turning the shower off would alert the intruder that he was on to them.
Continuity mistake: When Grant is putting something into Tatiana's drink her arms are together in her lap as she is looking out of the window, as the next shot cuts in when the waiter says "excuse me merci" Tatiana is holding a fork in her right hand.
Continuity mistake: When talking to Klebb and Kronsteen, Blofeld's ring swaps hands briefly.
Continuity mistake: Bond and Tatiana break into a Russian embassy to steal the 'Lektor' decoding device. As Bond tries to close the lid on the device, the lid is not even close to being closed. Ever the great actor, Sean Connery simply tucks the still-open device under his arm and continues the scene, which is him hastily making his escape from the room with the 'Lektor'. However, the scene shows that the 'Lektor' case is now fully and correctly closed only one second later, which is impossible to do in an instant. (01:02:40)
Revealing mistake: When Bond kills Red Grant in the train compartment by strangling him with his own garrote wire, the final shot reveals that the garrote is missing and Bond is faking it.
Continuity mistake: Just before the girl fight at the gypsy camp, Bond's coffee cup moves between shots. In the first clip after we see the girls enter the scene, the withe rimmed coffee cup is at the corner of the table, to the left of Bond's plate. In the next clip is is right next to the coffee pot and the plate. In the clip in between, Bond sits perfectly still, and the cup is visible, so it was not moved there. (00:41:40)
Continuity mistake: During the battle at the Gypsy camp, Kerim Bey gets shot on his arm but when Bond talks to him later, he has blood everywhere. Even if he had blood on his hands, I don't think he started to touch himself everywhere just for the fun. (00:45:20)
Suggested correction: The blood that is "everywhere" is small patches of blood. Easily transferred depending on what Harim does off screen after being shot.
Continuity mistake: When 007 pulls the gun out on Grant, watch how Grant's shadow changes position in the background in between shots, from when he says "take it easy 007" to his next line "my escape route's only for one"
Continuity mistake: When 007 puts Tatiana into the back of the truck with the flowers, he also puts his own attache case and the lector into the back of the truck: But later, when he stops the truck and gets out, he can be seen holding part of the rifle that he will use to shoot down the helicopter, then in the next shot he is carrying the lector from the truck again.
Factual error: In the scene where James Bond is being given his "gadgets", Q points out that his rifle is an "AR-7 in .25 caliber". The AR-7 is a real rifle, but is only available in .22 Long Rifle caliber. Due to numerous design features, especially the screw-off barrel, it can't be made to fire a .25 caliber cartridge of any type. (00:22:05)
Visible crew/equipment: Just after the helicopter explodes, you can see that the landing rails have been blown off, but in the next shot, (if you pause the picture) not only are the landing rails reattached, but you can see the helicopter being lowered on a wire. (01:37:50)
Continuity mistake: In the boat chase scene, when the bullets hit the drums on the back of Bond's boat they hit the ends of the drums. In order for that to happen one of the chasing boats would have to be along side of Bonds boat. At no time are any of the chase boats shown to be that close.
Continuity mistake: In the boat chase scene, when Bond fires the first flare he is on the right side of the boat. In the next shot(from far away) he is on the left side, and the very next close up shot he is back on the right side.
Continuity mistake: During the fight at the gypsy camp, just before the host thanks 007 for saving his life from the gunman up above, watch the carefully at the point when he is aiming his rifle and about to shoot, while in the next shot just before 007 fires his gun, you can the gunman loading his rifle. (00:44:15)
Continuity mistake: Watch the black Citroen Traction Avant saloon car that the Soviet spies are driving/tailing Bond and Kerim Bey's son in. When we first see it (at the airport), the hubcaps are gray and flat. When you see it through the rear window of Kerim's son's Rolls-Royce, you can catch glimpses of the hubcaps being cream-colored (which is how the Traction Avant came from the factory). However, when SPECTRE agent Donald Grant conks the Soviet agent over the head, from that point onward, the hubcaps are black (such as when he parks the car alongside Kerim's Rolls-Royce). (00:24:15)
