Continuity mistake: When Alita is playing the street version of motor ball she knocks over Tanji. In the next shot Tanji is following her in the pack as she scores, then the shot switches back to him on the ground.
Continuity mistake: There's a clear mix-up in editing during the car chase. Marta checks her phone twice for Blanc's calls as she tries to get away from the police. The first time the phone signals 9:36 AM, the second time 9:34 AM. (01:31:50)
Continuity mistake: When the main characters first decide to go diving, they are all wearing ordinary bikinis. By the end of the film, the surviving characters are wearing diving suits.

Continuity mistake: When the male elder fails to die after jumping off the cliff, a few of the Hårgas walk over to him to smash his head with a mallet. When the first Hårga hits him on the head, there is a visible bloody injury caused by the hit. Continuity mistake: In the movie ending, the three main characters (and two main actors) are walking off together following Will Smith Sr. That 'knows a place' to eat. Notice on the left part of the frame, along the path they are traveling, a couple of students; he has a beige jacket, yellow-ish sneakers and jeans, she has a blue jacket, and they are talking with another girl with a lighter blue jacket. In the next shot Danny asks him "So you settled down on major yet?" and the two aforementioned students are behind them, standing at the beginning of the walkway. (01:45:35)

Continuity mistake: When Ana finally escapes in Peter's truck, the truck is a Nissan Frontier extended cab with a long bed, no tonneau cover and no roof rack, but shortly after they show her crossing a bridge in a Frontier crew cab (4 door) short bed with a tonneau cover and a roof rack. It is also has dirt on the side that looks like road salt whereas the original truck was very clean. (01:16:00)
Continuity mistake: Dr. Stone mentions there is an emergency exit below the landing pad. He then asks the pilot if there is a camera underneath. In this shot, the pilot has his eyes partly closed and his lips pursed together. It cuts to a close up of him and suddenly his expression is different, with his eyes wider open and his mouth open. Continuity mistake: After the kids are told Sara hung herself at the hospital, Chuck asks "what are they waiting for, let's go". Stella is bending down to pick up the book in one shot, but the angle cuts while Chuck is still saying the word "go" and suddenly he has vanished from the room as the other two start to leave.
Suggested correction: They purposely stuck the images in a way that it repeats itself over and over again. It's intentionally made in a way of not flowing straightforward.
