Continuity mistake: When Sasha is jumping from the stairs at the end, she is wearing black tights, but before and after she is wearing different tights.
Continuity mistake: At the ATM, when Ramona is pulling money out, you can see the reflection of a police car pull up behind her. It pulls up just as she begins to turn around and nobody is getting out in the reflection nor are lights on. But suddenly when she turns around several officers are already standing with guns trained on her and the lights on.
Continuity mistake: After the wolves have killed the guy poorly sniping them at the old encampment location, Clair Hamilton glares at Larsen from her sitting position and moves towards him to ask more about what he just said about Father. During this sequence, Gina Carano's hat is burdened by a bit of snow or practically no snow at all, back and forth with no logic between cuts. (00:35:50)
Continuity mistake: After Brandon finds out he arrived in the alien craft, he walks outside in the rain where he finally translates "Take The World" as his purpose. He continues on to Caitlyn's house to tell her what he has discovered and to give her a flower. When he arrives in her room, he is completely dry.
Continuity mistake: Throughout the movie in several scenes the living room has 2 couches even up until the Parks are getting ready to leave for their camping trip, 1 big one and one small. The very next scene when the Kims are getting drunk, the small couch has disappeared. This must be to make room for the Kims to slide and crawl out from under the table. The strange thing is when the Parks come back home, they don't notice that one of their couches is missing. It remains missing until the end.
Continuity mistake: Mulligan hands Gabriel a SIM, and later on it becomes an SD memory card. (01:36:00 - 01:37:27)
Continuity mistake: The bartender pours two beers that have no foam on the top. When the beers are set on the table they have about one inch of foam. When the camera angle changes there is no foam. (01:18:45)
Continuity mistake: Dr. Mitchell's tie was sticking out below the back side of his shirt collar when he approached the front desk but not a few seconds later when he was turning to see Carson or when the receptionist was handing him a doctor's white coat. Dr. Mitchell's tie extended below the back collar again when he was putting on the white coat. (00:09:15)
Continuity mistake: When the girls bring a birthday cake into Judy's room at the first time, her bed sheet is patterned with what looks like flowers but when Judy is fast asleep the next time, the sheets are plain white. (00:52:30 - 01:15:30)
Continuity mistake: Nicolas Cage walks Buddy to the fence. He lights up a huge cigar which he holds in the left hand when he asks "Can you fix it?" and that appears in his right in the shot from the doorway. (00:09:10)
Continuity mistake: When the guy leaves the motel, he only grabs his jacket, but when he's outside, he has a helmet in his hand. (01:14:55)
Continuity mistake: When Tree wakes up from committing suicide with the drain cleaner, she starts pouring a water bottle into her mouth. In the wide shot, her mouth is wide open, her tongue is all the way in her mouth, and there's a steady stream of water pouring off her chin. But then it punches into a closeup, and her mouth is instantly halfway closed, her tongue is pushed forward, and the stream of water has suddenly slowed to a drip. Obviously a few seconds was cut for pacing, but still a mistake.
Continuity mistake: Moose is sitting at a desk writing a letter to Mr. Dunbar in a spiral bound notebook. There is a magazine to the right of the notebook with about the same width. After a couple quick camera shifts, the notebook is suddenly stacked on top of a few magazines and whatever Moose is writing on is obstructed by the stack. After a couple more quick camera shifts, the notebook is back in front of Moose, and he tears out the page he was writing on. (00:25:55)
Continuity mistake: After the intro, the protagonist receives a phone call from her sister. When she turns around to check out of the TV screen, one of her fellow swimmers, with quite characteristic purple hair, is immediately seen sitting down. Back to the view from inside the locker, the same aubergine-haired girl is coming from the lockers to the benches, to go sit. (00:03:45)
Continuity mistake: After Wesley has intimidated the snot bully, he comes back home and finds the police. Sitting at the table, his mom holds his arm and says "Wesley, Mr. Chambers asked you a question." Mary Elizabeth Winstead has her right arm on the table, close to her body. Change of angle and she is holding the coffee mug instead. (00:45:10)
Continuity mistake: At the start of the film, a man is giving a tour of a building under reconstruction to some potential buyers. One shot, as he's telling them that this sits on a 14-acre lot, there are just 3 people as they walk through a doorway. The film jump cuts to a closer angle, and suddenly a 4th person appears in front of them from thin air. (00:02:34)
Continuity mistake: The amount of blood on 10-year-old Miguel's face and neck after his "jump in" is not consistent. Sometimes there is more (or less) blood on his cheeks and neck and sometimes it appears splattered compared to large areas diluted with blood. The intensity/color of the blood also changes - sometimes it is very red but other times it is paler. The cut on his left eyebrow apparently was not on the far left corner yet sometimes the blood started there; other times, the blood started almost to the middle of his eyebrow. Sometimes he has blood below his eyebrow. Despite all the blood on his face and neck (down to the sagging T-shirt), there is no blood on his white or light grey T-shirt. He also does not get any blood on his jacket. Miguel was repeatedly punched then kicked by several large, muscular adult gang members for 13 seconds (to become a member of the MS-13 gang) but is unrealistically able to get right up then go and pick up and carry his dog - with no limping or signs of pain. Continuity mistake: After the cartoon segment, Deni entertains some playful banter with his girlfriend and takes off, putting a shirt on while he runs. When the neighbour asks him "Late again?", the guitar strap is on opposite sides of the instrument as the editing switches to a reverse shot. (00:06:40)
Continuity mistake: When Charlie throws Scott over the balcony, he crashes into the chandelier and it partially tears away from the ceiling. Sparks ensue, but the light remains fully functional. The camera switches to Scott on the floor then back to Charlie where the chandelier can be seen worth all but one light out. There is no visible difference in the room lighting. Later, when Charlie is chasing Scott and Annie with the shotgun, Charlie screams "Lights out!" and shoots a fully functional chandelier.
Continuity mistake: Packets of Synchronic were placed on top of the garbage already in the can and were inconsistent from one shot to another. Also, the amount of crumbled papers under the Synchronic decreased. (It is also interesting that no new garbage was placed in the can on top of the Synchronic packets even though over one day had passed).
