Armored picture

Corrected entry: In the scene where the money is loaded on to the armored vehicles, the money is first taken out of one metal box and put into two others. This is never the case in secured transports of large sums of money. The money is always placed in the box in the vault by the sender. The box is locked and sealed and will only be opened by the recipient in the vault to were it is delivered. Security guards do not handle the money, they just transport it. Also, one vehicle would have been sufficient to transport the box the money was initially in.

Correction: Not all companies have the same procedures. At the place I worked, the money was signed over, the security guard/courier was responsible for it to delivery. The sender did not pack the money, in fact didn't even handle the money, and the courier had to count and pack it. This was for all sums of money, and one trip I made from the airport to the vault took over 1 hour for a 5 minute drive due to the amounts involved. On occasion, we would split large amounts of money between a couple of cases, and different trucks to lessen the impact if a truck was robbed.

He's Just Not That Into You picture

Corrected entry: When Janine Gunders calls her husband on his cell phone from her cell phone, the caller ID says "Janine home", but in fact she called him from her cell phone and not the home phone.

Correction: You can program your caller ID to read anything you want for a specific number. For instance Janine Home could be her cell, since she may use it as her only phone, or it could read Janine Landline for a landline home phone.

Crank: High Voltage picture

Corrected entry: If Poon-Dong is so important to the Triads, why would he be allowed to accompany a prostitute back to her room without protection? The ending makes very little sense considering how important he supposedly is.

TedStixon

Correction: He's the leader/founder of the Triads. It's not like they can tell him "no".

The Last Station picture

Corrected entry: Tolstoy was an ardent vegetarian, but in one scene at the house where his followers live, a woman is plucking a chicken.

Correction: Not all of his followers may be vegetarians. Besides, I have a vegetarian friend who will go so far as to cook meat for non-vegetarian friends.

Imagine That picture

Corrected entry: Near the end of the movie, the school auditorium is filled with people for a children's concert. Olivia, the daughter of Eddie Murphy's character, is unable to sing her song until she sees him enter the building and walk down the aisle. He sits down next to his ex-wife. Amazingly, that was the only vacant seat in the auditorium.

Correction: Why so amazing? She came alone to the auditorium so odds are there's going to be an empty seat beside her. Coincidental, yes, unlikely perhaps, but not impossible, and not a mistake.

Fanboys picture

Corrected entry: At the end of the opening crawl, it says "Sent from my Iphone" - but they were not around until after 1998.

Repo_Man

Correction: The story is being told/emailed from an iPhone in 2009, about what happened in 1998.

All About Steve picture

Corrected entry: Mary's date with Steve lasts all of fifteen minutes. During that time they have no real conversation. So there is no way Mary could have known enough about Steve to create a whole crossword puzzle about him.

Correction: She could easily research a lot about him on the Internet, or through interviewing his friends.

The Girl Who Played With Fire picture

Corrected entry: While Lisbeth is being buried alive, you can see a hole in the dirt near her face, so the actress playing her can breathe. The hole isn't completely covered over; the camera pans away.

kh1616

Correction: The camera pans away before the shoveling is done. So there's a hole when last we see, but since they're not done burying her at that point, this isn't a mistake.

Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li picture

Corrected entry: If Bison's Irish parents died when he was a baby in Thailand, why does he have an Irish accent?

Correction: He doesn't. If he did, it could easily be explained by spending an extended amount of time in Ireland. He's a very wealthy man, it's absurd to assume he's spent his entire life in Thailand except for the one excursion to collect Chun-Li's father.

A Single Man picture

Corrected entry: The main character, played by Colin Firth, uses a 'Rosendahl' water carafe by designer Erik Bagger. Unfortunately the movie is set in the 1950s, whilst the design was made some time after 1987.

Foodieboy

Correction: This entry is wrong, the movie takes place in 1962, not "in the 1950's"

My Bloody Valentine picture

Corrected entry: Ryder cube vans visible on the left hand side, up on the hill through the trees in the last scene, when the rescue workers are coming out of the mine.

Correction: Ryder vans can be rented by anyone. These vans could have been rented by the mining company.

12 Rounds picture

Corrected entry: After the hotel scene, the FBI is with Det. Fisher outside and they tell him they can trace Miles' phone if he keeps him talking for at least 30 seconds (they repeatedly inform him that that's all the time they need). At the end of the call, they say they didn't have enough time for a trace, however almost 70 seconds have already passed. (00:57:15 - 00:58:25)

mboeker

Correction: The FBI agent is also cocky and overconfident. Danny told him earlier that Miles' phone was encrypted, and the agent just brushed the comment aside. Obviously the agent was wrong, and Danny was right.

Carriers picture

Corrected entry: At the start, the movie explains what the rules are for the four main characters: Avoid contact with the sick, clean everything in 24 hours if an infected touched that place. Well, in the hospital, the males throw the gun to the father of the infected kid. When he doesn't need the gun anymore, he puts it on the ground, and the main character takes it and just puts it back in his pants as though it's nothing to worry about.

booya

Correction: It's a highly charged, emotional and frightening situation. They're bound to make mistakes like this from time to time. As we see, most of the people who get infected make mistakes like this.

Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs picture

Corrected entry: In the first Ice Age, the mammoth, sloth, and tiger returned a human child to its parents. But in this movie, there were dinosaurs when dinosaurs were extinct, before Eskimos.

belin

Correction: The whole point was that the dinosaurs were in another, parallel existence. It requires a stretch of the imagination, much like talking animals, but it's not a plot hole.

Whip It picture

Corrected entry: In the tryouts, Razor calls out for the girls to throw hits. Immediately, one girl does, elbowing another in the face. Seconds later, however, she's revealed to be deaf, so there's no way she heard the instructions to throw a hit if she couldn't hear Razor yelling in her face. (00:21:00)

Correction: Deaf people can frequently read lips.

Obsessed picture

Corrected entry: Right before the big fight scene near the end of the movie, When Idris Elba is laying the bed, the shirt is on inside out, but when Beyonce walks in 1 second later the shirt is on the right way.

Correction: The shirt appearing "inside out" is because the first shot of her wearing the shirt is her reflection in the mirror on the ceiling above the bed. It was reversed, not inside out.

The Disappearance of Alice Creed picture

Corrected entry: The kidnappers plan every detail in advance to avoid any traces. During the kidnapping they take great care to not leave any traces behind. But after getting the ransom, when they chain the hostage to the place of release, they touch the handcuffs and the bike lock with bare hands, leaving their finger prints all over the place.

Correction: Which often happens, and is one way criminals are caught. They have the ransom, and got careless once they got their goal.

Fantastic Mr. Fox picture

Corrected entry: In the scene where the group is peeking from the manhole in the supermarket, Mr. Fox mentions that the store closes early on weekends. The closed/open sign above their heads reads "closed" from the inside of the store. If the supermarket was closed it would read "open" from the inside, and "closed" to the outside. (01:17:25)

Tentacle

Correction: The "closed" sign is not on the door to the outside of the supermarket. It is on a glass case in the meat department inside the store.

A Perfect Getaway picture

Corrected entry: In the water cave scene where Cliff shoots Nick in the head, Nick is facing Cliff, who is to his right side. However, later, when Nick is revealed to have survived the gunshot due to the metal plate in his skull, the dent from the bullet is located on the back-left of Nick's head. This would have been the opposite side of his head from where Cliff had been shooting from.

Correction: When Nick realizes that Cliff has a gun, he turns his head away from him revealing the whole back of his head to Cliff. This leaves Cliff the ability to shoot Nick anywhere in the back of the head.

S. Darko picture

Corrected entry: The second newspaper article that Corey looks at about the young girl decapitated by a manhole cover, the eighth paragraph (the one at the very bottom in the second column from the left) has a typo "We we jumping rope" instead of "We were jumping rope". (00:49:55)

Gunner6777

Correction: Newspapers, especially from small towns, have typograghical errors on a regular basis; usually several per issue. This is true to life and therefore not a Movie Mistake.
