Corrected entry: The main character, played by Colin Firth, uses a 'Rosendahl' water carafe by designer Erik Bagger. Unfortunately the movie is set in the 1950s, whilst the design was made some time after 1987.

Correction: This entry is wrong, the movie takes place in 1962, not "in the 1950's"

Corrected entry: When informed of his partner's death, George asks about the dogs. He is told that they found one, dead at the scene. "Was there another?" "Yes, there was also a small female." How did George know which was found dead?

Correction: You answered your own question. George is told, one dog is dead, he asks if there was another, and was told "Yes, there was also a small female."

Continuity mistake: In the final scene, after George falls to the floor with a heart attack, the alarm clock is knocked onto the floor but the position changes from near his elbow (in the overhead shots) to closer to his hand (in the floor-level shots).
