Best TV mistakes of 2006
Revealing mistake: When the children are possessed by the 456, they're supposed to be frozen and stare blankly ahead. But during the second possession, as the camera is panning across a school playground, a boy on the far right is looking directly at it. As it moves closer to him, he swivels his eyes back to where they're supposed to be.
Continuity mistake: Episode 1-14, "Heart of Winter". Just before the robbery, Jake throws some water bottles and a flashlight over a small mound into the bushes, to hide them from the thieves. But when Mimi later picks them up, they are much closer to the truck, and on the other side of the mound. In fact, the bottles and flashlight would have been in plain sight for the robbers where she picks them up.
Continuity mistake: Suzanne tells her family that she is being sexually harassed by her co-worker at the colonial theme park. Her son Jody then says, "Don't worry. When I get through with this Ben Franklin guy, he's definitely going to remember the Alamo." We, the viewers, know that Suzanne's co-worker plays the role of Benjamin Franklin, but she never mentioned that to her sons.
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Nikki brings the freezer to Juniper Creek, the freezer is strapped with a wide yellow strap to a hand truck. She leaves the freezer in the middle of the road. The freezer is now free of the hand truck and yellow strap. She gets in her pick up truck and the freezer is shown in the road strapped to the hand truck. She then proceeds to run the freezer over, but it is no longer on the hand truck. The hand truck and yellow strap are no where to be seen.
