Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights picture

Corrected entry: During the credits at the beginning there is a very clear shot of El Morro. This ancient Spanish castle is a distinctive landmark of San Juan, Puerto Rico, not Havana, Cuba.

Correction: There is one in Havana as well, just as well-known. And it looked right in the movie (even though it was filmed in Puerto Rico).

Hotel Rwanda picture

Corrected entry: A Canadian military officer would always address his lieutenants as 'left-enants' and never as 'lew-tenants' as Nolte does throughout the movie. The Canadian Armed Forces has maintained the British pronunciation of that military rank.

Correction: While "left-enants" is the correct pronunciation in the Canadian military there is nothing wrong with using an different pronunciation. Either he knew he was making an mistake and didn't care or simply forgot about saying it correctly. Nolte's character was in charge of the UN convoy and I doubt anyone was going to correct an superior especially with how bad the situation around them was.

Alfie picture

Corrected entry: In the scene where Alfie first chauffeurs Liz and 'someone else's husband', we are first introduced to Liz through the rear vision mirror which shows her sitting behind Alfie. However, when they arrive at the hotel, and Alfie opens the door on the opposite side of the car, Liz is the first to get out.

Correction: Liz is in fact sitting on the right hand side of the backseat (i.e., NOT behind Alfie), from where she leaves the car in front of the Chanel store. She is depicted at the RIGHT hand edge of the mirror, consequently she is sitting on the right hand side of the car (please keep in mind that a mirror does not really exchange left and right as some people believe, but it exchanges front and rear).

Starship Troopers 2: Hero of the Federation picture

Corrected entry: When Billy slits Mill's throat, the blood is flowing wrong. There should be an actual fountain of blood bursting out when one's throat gets slit - not just a few drops. Also, the structure of Mill's blood is too thin - it resembles colored water. (01:05:50)

Grigory the Wanderer

Correction: Actually, when one's throat is slit, the skin and muscle of the neck close around the wound rather well.

Paparazzi picture

Corrected entry: When Bo answers the door while he and the detective are talking in his trailer, you can see a crewmember reflected in the glass. The crewmember moves out of the shot, but then his arm slips back in.

Deadman63

Correction: Since they were on a movie set, it's possible that that crewmember could have been a cameraman for the movie Bo was starring in, thus it wouldn't matter if he was in the shot or not.

The Machinist picture

Corrected entry: In the scene where we are introduced to Ivan, Reznik pushes in the car's cigarette lighter. It takes a good 30-40 seconds, I believe, to finish lighting. Later in the movie, when he pushes it in again, it takes only a few seconds to light.

MasterChief3624

Correction: It does take long for the lighter to work, but because hes imagining the meeting, it could have been only a second in real time.

Hidalgo picture

Corrected entry: During the last scene, when it showed the hundreds of horses running in the field, it appeared that there was a person holding on to a horse's tail and being dragged on the ground as the horse ran.

Correction: Lots of wide shots of all those horses here. A timecode or better description would be good, as I see no such person. Too vague.

After the Sunset picture

Corrected entry: In the scene at the beginning of the movie where Woody Harrelson is in the Suburban, Pierce Brosnan and Selma Hayek hook up gas to the air conditioning line in the engine compartment. We then see the gas circulating via the air vents inside the vehicle. This is an error as the refrigeration system of any vehicle is a closed system and thus the gas could not enter the cabin of the vehicle through the air vents.

Correction: In any car you can change the refrigeration system from closed to open (the air comes from the outside) so it was possible.

Mindhunters picture

Corrected entry: Before supposedly leaving the island, Val Kilmer tells his recruits something like, "There will be another guy around here, a puppeteer. Find him." Then there are puppeteer related killings, which are done by one of the recruits. But how did the killer know for sure there would be anything related to a puppeteer on that island, to stage all those "puppets" hanging around? How did he know the place so well, if it was a "secret" place for Navy Seals' training? And how could he have prepared the domino stunt and all the other tricks without anybody noticing?

Correction: There was time for the killer to accomplish all the set-up during the night their first night on the island. This is when he would have killed the people in the hidden room, explored the island, rigged the boat, hung the cat, and set up about a thousand dominos. Improbable, sure, but not impossible. And whatever he didn't set up during the night, he had time to accomplish during the "coffee break" the next day.

The Life and Death of Peter Sellers picture

Corrected entry: This film shows Sellers meeting director Stanley Kubrick for the first time during the preproduction phases of "Dr Strangelove" in 1963. They introduce themselves like complete strangers. In fact Kubrick directed Sellers in "Lolita" in 1962 and they had known each other for years. This is contradicted in a later scene, compounding the error.

Correction: In the initial scenes with Kubrick, when he is trying to get Sellers to do "Strangelove," it is clear that the they know each other and it is implied that they have worked together before.

That is not the point. The scene shows Kubick and Sellers meeting for the first time while Strangelove was being prepared - and that is wrong.

The movie does not show them meeting for the first time. The first scene with the two of them shows that they already know each other.

Anchorman picture

Corrected entry: During the scene where Ron is in the phone booth, an early shot shows a white SUV drive by. The movie is set in the 1970's. SUV's didn't exist.

Correction: Some SUV's that existed in the '70's: Ford Bronco (introduced 1966), Chevy Suburban (introduced 1971), International Harverster Scout (introduced 1961), etc.

Mulan II picture

Corrected entry: In the first movie when Mulan is singing "Reflections" you see a profile shot of her face. In this movie you see a profile shot of her face again and she looks very different.

Disney-Freak

Correction: The artists who worked on the film may have simply chosen to draw her slightly different to keep with the visual style of this film. It is after all a cartoon, and animation styles often change.

Vera Drake picture

Corrected entry: In the shot where Vera Drake removes her wedding ring for the first time in 27 years, her finger shows the ring has left no mark.

Correction: Never taken it off doesn't mean she has never moved it around on her finger. Many people with wedding rings do this and it wasn't clear to me from the shot we saw that there was no mark.

The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou picture

Corrected entry: When Ned first interrupts Jane reading aloud, she tells him it is from a 6-volume novel. She keeps one volume on the bed with her and he picks up another pile on the chair, putting them on the typewriter before he sits down. However there's 6 books in the pile he moved, plus the one she keeps - that's SEVEN books.

Correction: That doesn't mean that all the books are from the same novel. It's a 6 volume novel and another book in the pile.

Chasing Liberty picture

Corrected entry: When Anna and Ben are running through the Prague train station in order to catch the train to Berlin, Anna is wearing blue jeans. But when she's actually getting on the train, you can see she's wearing a short black skirt. In the next scene, when they're already on the train, she's wearing jeans again.

Correction: The one in the short black skirt is a secret agent following her.

Garden State picture

Corrected entry: In the scene where Largeman and Sam are sitting on the stairs in the airport, look at the escalator to the right. In the first long shot, the escalator is moving upward. In the next shot the escalator is standing still. When it cuts to a close-up of Largeman, the escalator is moving again.

Correction: In fact, when you see the close up of Largeman after the long shot, you cannot see the escalator behind him. What you are seeing is a reflection of the stairs on which they are sitting. There is a glass partition between the stairs and the escalator and this causes the reflection.

Creep picture

Corrected entry: After boarding the tube the lights go out in the carriages. She walks through the train until she comes across Guy with the torch. After a bit of suspense he flicks a lever in the carriage and the lights come back on. There aren't light controls on London Underground trains, and in fact the lever he pulls is an emergency alarm.

Correction: Correct, but it's possible that pulling the emergency alarm activates the emergency lighting.

Barbershop 2: Back in Business picture

Corrected entry: In the scene where Ricky is waiting for Terri, the license plate on his red GMC pick-up truck is BS468G. In Illinois (where the movie is based and the truck is licensed) all truck plates begin with numbers and end with letters. All passenger cars are the opposite, beginning with letters and ending with numbers. There are NO license plates issued with a mixture of letters and numbers as shown.

Correction: As with phone numbers, addresses, and military uniforms, movie makers do not generally use license plates which have the possiblilty of being a real registered number. It's done for privacy and legal reasons, and as such is not a mistake.

Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow picture

Corrected entry: The newspaper we see at the beginning of the film triumphantly headlines the arrival of the Hindenburg III in New York. How long prior to printing of the newspaper would that have been? Twelve hours? However, the same edition of the newspaper carries the story of a Doctor Vargas, a 'Missing Scientist', who was last seen on the Hindenburg III itself. Not in their Universe nor ours would the Police, Press or anyone else be interested in a scientist who had been 'missing' for a few hours.

Correction: If Einstein, Oppenheimer, Telsa, or Fermi had dissappered without a trace for a few hours, I'm pretty sure many people would have cared. Same thing if Stephen Hawkings dissapeared today.

The Librarian: Quest for the Spear picture

Corrected entry: When Flynn and Nicole are underwater, after jumping off the cliff with the Brotherhood just behind them, you can see a gold-colored item fall from Flynn's bag. It's identical to the book and to our knowledge he has nothing else with him. Yet later on in the movie he still has the book with him.

Correction: Look closely. The gold colored item in the water is a large, gold-colored leaf that floats downward after they splash in. Nothing falls from his bag.
