Trivia: Raimi created the "shaky cam", a low budget version of the Steadicam, which he couldn't afford to use for filming. The camera was bolted to a 2x4 piece of wood, and two people held on to each end of the plank and ran through the woods with it. Producer Rob Tapert has said "We did a lot of tests with it, and we were actually very pleased with how it turned out. We never considered the shakiness a problem, we thought it showed the energy of the force behind it."

Trivia: Spider-Man creator Stan Lee makes his standard cameo appearance for this film when Spider-Man and Doc Ock are fighting on the side of the building. The first shot of the street during the fight shows a woman being pushed out of the way as some debris falls; the man pushing her is Lee.
Trivia: At the very beginning, David sits in front of his newest drawing, showing a man with two guns, a rose right of him and a tower far behind on the left side. This drawing shows Roland, a character out of "The Dark Tower", a well-known series of books from Stephen King. At the very end of the shot, Tony is firing a beam at Cap which lands on Cap's shield and the shot begins to slow down. This moment from the shot is an homage to the cover from part 7 of the Marvel Civil War comic storyline, where Captain America and Iron Man are fighting on the front cover in the same way. (02:07:00)
Trivia: In Cloud City, when Chewy finds C-3PO in pieces in what looks like a droid scrap room, you can see what looks like the upper half of IG-88 leaning up against the wall.
