Continuity mistake: When doctors are discussing the medical condition of Dave Bowman's mother, a close-up of the African-American doctor shows a framed newspaper on the wall behind him. It is the front page and has prominent pictures of Bowman and Poole taken during their mission. In the next, wider shot, we see this wall suddenly has nothing on it - the newspaper and frame have vanished. They return when Bowman's mother sits up in bed. (01:16:45)
Visible crew/equipment: When the trio are driving to the City Deposit/Federal Reserve Bank, in the shot just before hitting the white/red booth, the extended crane arm with the second camera and seated cameraman are visible behind the booth (for filming from opposite angle). (01:03:25)
Continuity mistake: In the end of the movie, Hilts (Steve McQueen) is returned to the camp - he is dirty and his shirt is torn. When he enters the cooler, after being tossed his baseball glove, he is clean and his shirt is no longer torn. (02:49:50)
Revealing mistake: When Robocop is completed and they are going over his gear, they show a tracker that shows his location at all times. The tracking unit is obviously fake; the street layout is a decal and the "blip" that is Robocop is in a fixed position. (00:30:20)
Continuity mistake: When Mathayus is stabbed with the poison arrow, it goes into the side of his right thigh, but when he removes his bandage after Cassandra has healed him, he checks the front of his left thigh just above his kneecap for the injury. (00:45:05 - 00:48:05)
Plot hole: When Bond and Tibbett break into the underground lab and find the device which drugs the racehorses, you can see that it has a large light emitting diode (LED) on the top of it. What possible use would that be, since the device is implanted in the horse's leg, and is supposed to be covert? (00:37:20)
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Landers is presenting his machine, he puts an hourglass on the computer. In the next shot, it's gone.
Character mistake: In one of the National Tattler headlines, the word "pursues" is misspelled "persues". (00:52:15)
Continuity mistake: This is just after Curt has jumped into the lake. The green towel around Marty's neck disappears and reappears. (00:22:00)
Continuity mistake: When Caesar Flickerman is interviewing Katniss on TV, a chunk of her up-swept hairdo keeps changing, hanging down next to her left cheek in one shot, then it disappears in a close-up, then it's hanging down again. (00:56:15)
Continuity mistake: When Cheryl is running through the woods, she is wearing slippers that stay on up until she reaches the cabin door. However, in following shots, she is shown barefoot, and when Ash opens the door her foot is dirty as if she'd been running barefoot the whole time. (00:28:05 - 00:29:10)
Continuity mistake: When Leeloo jumps from the building, the elevator track, which was attached to the building on her right-hand side, has vanished. (00:30:10)
Continuity mistake: When Bond is flying over China and landing on the sea by Scaramanga's island, you can see that his plane has two floats - one on either wing. But in the shot where he is heading for the beach, it is clearly seen that the left float has gone! (01:28:40 - 01:30:55)
Continuity mistake: After Connor has thrown the toilet off the roof onto one of the Russians and landed on the other, he is unconscious on the ground. While Murphy is collecting things from the ground and the Russians, Connor's legs switch from straight to crossed. (00:24:09)
Continuity mistake: When Julia is trying to figure a way out the cell, she starting feeling around the edges of the glass panels etc., and she then comes to the end and stands by the green bench which is at the side of the cell. Julia's black heels sit on the bench, but then when Julia notices the pipe and climbs up to attempt to pull it, in the overhead shot her black heels have vanished from the bench. (01:08:40)
Continuity mistake: At the start of the movie the hole in the back on Sean's car vanishes in some scenes. (00:04:05)
Continuity mistake: When Tyler gets beaten up by Lou, his mouth is bleeding after the first punch. After maybe two punches Tyler jokingly claims to "get it", then he says he "lost it". Right then the blood is no longer there. (01:12:25)
Revealing mistake: Harvey Dent and the mayor argue in Dent's office which has an unusual semicircular shape. In the next scene, Alfred uses the telephone in Wayne Manor, and you can see that it's the same room, just with different furniture and dressings. (00:56:10)
Continuity mistake: When Capt. Picard, Data, and Anij are going to the holoship, they start off from the landing dock with (facing them) Data on the left, Capt. Picard on the right and Anij sitting. This is all well and good but after Data opens the door to the holoship, they magically switch places. (00:33:25)
Continuity mistake: As Godzilla is about to step on Animal, we see two cars are directly behind Animal (a yellow taxi and a gray car). Each shot of Animal from the front as the monster approaches (and he's trying to get the tape locked into the camera) shows portions of the cars. But in the side shot of the foot as it lands, no cars are right behind Animal at all. (00:29:50)
