Continuity mistake: In the opening scenes where the are driving home and the right front tire goes flat. Just before the Big rig truck hits them you can see that the tire is not flat. (00:07:50)
Visible crew/equipment: Bond follows the girl through the streets of Venice. The camera follows him with a track shot. Bond turns left, going into some kind of alley, and the dolly keeps going. The dolly, camera, and crew are reflected in a window for a second. (02:02:10)
Continuity mistake: After the scene with the pig gut pit, Jeff and the judge leave the room and the judge's clothes are suddenly not wet and almost clean. (01:17:15)
Continuity mistake: When Ethel, Lynne, Brenda and Bobby are sitting around the table outside the caravan, talking, the position of the juice pitcher, ketchup bottle and mustard bottle constantly changes. (00:27:30)
Continuity mistake: When the red Ford Bronco is driven off the ferry (ignoring all the impossible factors required for it to successfully do so), it flips through the air and contacts the water going backwards, its right/rear tail light entering the water first. The closer next shot shows the truck sink somewhat as it continues to flip backward, onto its roof. The very next shot shows the interior of the truck as it enters the water right-side up and going forward as water rushes in. Denzel lurches forward and down, driving his face into the water that is about waist level. The next exterior shot is underwater as the truck now lands in the water, nose first and right-side up. It then begins the expected slow dive, nose-first. (01:52:30)
Continuity mistake: At the start of the movie the hole in the back on Sean's car vanishes in some scenes. (00:04:05)
Continuity mistake: In the first scene in Giuseppe Baldini's perfume shop, his employee comes in and starts setting three candles in a candelabra. He sets them very straight and upright, however after we cut to Guiseppe asking if he knows of Amor et Psyche and back to the shot of the candelabra again, all three candles are wonky. Factual error: Take a look at Google Earth - the section of the Golden Gate Bridge Magneto breaks off (about a mile - tower to tower plus a section each end) isn't anywhere near long enough to reach Alcatraz from anywhere on the mainland.
Continuity mistake: The red wine stain on Davian's shirt is much redder when he enters the restroom than just after the wine is spilt on him. (00:51:00 - 00:52:20)
Continuity mistake: After the car crash, as Rose walks down the road calling for Sharon, the cut above her left eyebrows disappears for one shot.
Revealing mistake: The roller coaster used for the Devil's Flight is really the Corkscrew at Playland in Vancouver, where all three movies were filmed. If you look during the opening credits, you can see the name "Corkscrew" up in the lights above the coaster. After this, it says Devil's Flight during the rest of the roller coaster scenes.
Continuity mistake: After Costello smashes Costigan's wrist he hands all of the dollars he has in his right hand. A frame later money reappears in the hand.
Visible crew/equipment: When Steven Weber and Kelly Overton find Tom Skerritt's motorcycle in the desert a crew member is visible in the chrome that runs along the red gas tank.
Continuity mistake: When Malcolm is being the safety eagle at the childrens school convention, as he flails around on fire, he knocks the large space heater over. In subsequent shots it is suddenly standing upright again. (00:03:20)
Continuity mistake: After Eisenheim has disappeared, literally, from stage, Uhl and the policemen search his office. There, Uhl finds Eisenheim's notebook with the design of the locket in it. There is a large tear in the middle of the paper. It disappears when the inspector looks at it again after he has found the locket in the Prince's barn. (01:31:00 - 01:31:45)
Continuity mistake: When Barris is served in the diner, french fries are scattered over his plate. When seen again, the french fries are replaced with vegetable sides.
Continuity mistake: Troy is the first passenger to exit the plane, yet in the next shot he is spotted walking down the stairs behind Neville Flynn. It's easy to spot him by his orange shirt.
Continuity mistake: Near the end of the film, Violet infiltrates the complex and makes her way into a white room with tons of men in white suits. She starts fighting them and when a couple of guys come at her, she moves quickly and one guy stabs the other in the chest. When she goes to elbow one of the guys in the face, watch his helmet, it comes flying off, revealing his head and hair. When the camera quickly changes to another angle, his helmet is on perfectly straight. (01:17:45)
Continuity mistake: After the fight on the barge between Michael and Marcus, Selene tries to revive the impaled and seemingly dead Michael. At one point she rips his shirt open to pour her own blood into his wound, then the shot changes to her face, then changes again, slightly further out. It is in this shot, you can see Michael's shirt is still intact.
Continuity mistake: During the last few scenes in the movie, when Hannah asks Jenny if she needs help with the plane, they knock knuckles together. When the shot is taken from behind Hannah, she is shown wearing gloves, but when the shot position changes to behind Jenny, the gloves magically disappear.
