Continuity mistake: Opening scene where Chris Sarandon is chasing Brad Dourif into the toy store. During the gunfight, Sarandon has gloves on. As he enters the store he is wearing gloves. The next shot, the gloves are off. The next scene, the gloves are back on and he takes them off by biting the fingertips and pulling them off. (00:01:50)
Continuity mistake: Just after the doctor started the post mortem on that little girl, the front of his gown is covered with blood. Yet, a few seconds later, after the two other guys appear, his gown looks better, with less blood. And during the whole post mortem scene, the blood spot actually changes its size a few times. Continuity mistake: When Ash is crawling through the cellar, he finds some of the pages, and he holds them in his right hand. Only problem is, he cut off his right hand earlier and attached the chainsaw to it - the film was flipped so he'd appear to be crawling in the right direction. (01:06:15)
Continuity mistake: When Lestat slices the whore's wrist at the hotel, blood drips everywhere on the couch, but when she stands up in the next shot, there is no blood anywhere. (01:56:12)
Continuity mistake: In the scene after Janet Leigh is killed Norman goes into Cabin one and starts mopping. He puts the mop in front of the bed for a second. Through the mirror you can see the mop fall when he put it down, but when he goes back to get it, the mop is up again.
Continuity mistake: At one point, the gigantic title character knocks over a city bus. For a moment, the word TONKA can be seen on the underside of the vehicle.
Continuity mistake: When Vince leaves the freezer and is making his way onto the elevator, he is carrying a Baretta model pistol. When he shoots as the elevator doors are closing the camera cuts to a Glock model pistol, then back to the Baretta again. When the elevator reaches the upper level, the woman picks up the remains of the backfired pistol and it is back to the Glock. (01:21:15 - 01:24:30)
Continuity mistake: When Andy is tied up on his bed, the two skipping ropes tied to his feet have green rope, but in one closeup of Andy kicking his foot about, the rope is yellow, then in the next wide shot, is green once again. Continuity mistake: When Sidney is first going into the house for the end of the movie it is clear that she is not wearing the vest underneath her clothes and as she is walking around or when she is rolling on the ground fighting with her half brother you see her bellybutton but then she has the vest on and it goes over the belly button.
Continuity mistake: When Jonas is swimming the tracking gun out to where the Meg is circling, he dunks his head under water to look for the shark. When he surfaces, his earpiece has changed ears. When they cut back to him, it's moved back to the correct ear.
Continuity mistake: When Sylvia and Dr. Forrester are in the farm house, Sylvia cooks some eggs, then places the plates of eggs on the table. As she places them down you can see a plate with toast stacked on it. This plate disappears in the next shot of them both sitting down. (00:42:40)
Continuity mistake: The blood stain on Riggs' white shirt around the neck has blood under the collar, then at the end it is over the collar and has increased in amount.
Continuity mistake: When Maya enters Peter's office for the first time, you can see that he had just written something on his laptop. While they talk, you can see the word-program on the computer screen: it shows one page. Cut to Maya, then back to Peter: it shows two pages. Another cut: one page. This happens two or three times throughout the scene. (00:29:30)
Continuity mistake: When Dorothy is letting Campbell live in her home, he picks up his bag and puts it on his shoulder. When he leans in to kiss her, there is no strap on his shoulder, then it's back again in the next shot.
Continuity mistake: The level of liquid in the doctor's beer mug changes noticeably between shots; the mug fills itself up again just before he leaves the pub. (00:47:10)
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Ashley says that they've got CDs in the tanning salon you can see Ashlyn keeping a cream tube on the table with her right hand. In the next shot you see her continuing the same action with the left hand.
Continuity mistake: When Romey hits the little boy, she immediately parks her car and gets out. She closes the door behind her and runs to the little boy. After making sure he is ok, she goes back to her car and the door is open.
Continuity mistake: They trick one witch with a record recording of a boy that is lost. H&G are thrown down by it and the witch picks up a branch and begins zooming off like it is a broom. Hansel is behind her, yet despite the witch traveling faster than he is running, somehow he suddenly gets in front of her and smacks her with his gun. (00:31:10)
Continuity mistake: When Danny goes to their old room at the Overlook, the bathroom door only has one broken panel but in the Shining, both panels were smashed when Jack heard the Snow Cat arriving.
