Other mistake: The type of gas pump Danny used when gassing up the car requires the lever be moved from the on to off position before the hose can be placed back into the pump. It is already in the off position before he finishes.
Continuity mistake: When Danny goes to their old room at the Overlook, the bathroom door only has one broken panel but in the Shining, both panels were smashed when Jack heard the Snow Cat arriving.
Continuity mistake: When Danny is about to hit Abra with the axe she grabs his wrist. When the angle changes she is grabbing his hand. This swaps back and forth.
Other mistake: It seems strange that Rose the Hat doesn't sense the evil that inhabits the Overlook Hotel when she arrives. When the blood river flows in that hallway, Rose just grins at it, unaware of the danger she is in. As powerful as Rose is, she never sensed Danny's Shining ability back in 1980 even before the events at the Overlook Hotel.
Suggested correction: The ghosts of the Overlook Hotel are still locked up in Danny's mind. There is no danger yet. What she sees are just memories from Danny overflowing into her mind. Abra experiences the same thing. Rose herself wonders how she overlooked (pun intended) Danny, but that is never explained.
Continuity mistake: When Abra is on her bed and her mom wakes her up in one scene, she is without earbuds from the mom's perspective. Then she lifts up her head and has earbuds in a closeup. Back to mom's perspective for a conversation and the earbuds are gone.
Continuity mistake: When Abra walks to her bedroom window she is wearing socks on her feet but when she grips the window and levitates she is wearing her sneakers. (01:03:00)
Continuity mistake: When Abra's father is told about her powers he serves himself a glass of whisky. The distance between the bottle and the top increases/decreases randomly between shots.
