Character mistake: While singing the "If I Were King" song, the Lion asks, "What makes the Sphinx the Seventh Wonder?" The Sphinx is not one of the Seven Wonders of the World; its neighbour the Great Pyramid of Giza is. Besides, how would the residents of Oz know about our Seven Wonders of the World? (01:07:00)
Character mistake: During the opening space battle, Obi-Wan's ship falls under attack by buzz-droids, who proceed to cut into his fighter, disabling a number of systems and leading Anakin to try some decidedly dangerous moves to get rid of them. Both Anakin and Obi-Wan are acknowledged experts in the use of the Force and both have been shown to use the Force routinely, even for relatively mundane activities. It's also been firmly established that the Force works on droids and that the Force-user can still affect others through windows, viewscreens and so forth. Yet neither thinks to use the Force to deal with the buzz-droids. (00:05:10)Tailkinker
Character mistake: At the memorial service the principal says that it's been 39 days since 39 loved ones had died. But there were 40 students on the plane and 4 chaperones, making the total 44. Now 7 people got off the plane which means 37 people related to that memorial service actually died, not 39. Two pilots would make up the numbers, but there would be flight crew too, which still leaves the numbers off.
Character mistake: In her speech outside the bank, Mary Lou Barebone mentions "the wireless" as one of the wonders of modern technology, which is the British term. A New Yorker in 1926 would more likely use the Americanism "radio."Cubs Fan
Character mistake: One of the top most taboo things for a super hero to do is reveal any aspect of another hero's identity to someone, especially a villain. But when Flash is trapped by the gray adhesive and the other Justice League members are about to take the villains away to disarm the bombs, Flash tells Green Lantern "Hal, go", calling Green Lantern by his first name right in front of Mirror Master. Character mistake: The closing shot of a newspaper article shows the word "rumor", film is set in England where it's spelled "rumour".
Character mistake: When Boris and Natasha (Jason Alexander and Renee Russo) are at the airport (just missing Rocky, Bullwinkle and the FBI agent) Natasha says something about "Moose and Squirrel don't even know our names", yet earlier in the courthouse scene, Bullwinkle says something about Boris and Natasha being real people and Rocky and Bullwinkle still being cartoons.
