Continuity mistake: After Johnny learns of his last rescue's death, when he enters the hallway the treatment room beside the nurses' station is treatment 4, but when Brackett and Early pass the nurses' station to go save a rabbit from a sousaphone, it's treatment 2 that's beside the nurses' station. Then, as soon as Brackett and Early enter their door, in the next shot as Dix speaks to the officer, it's treatment 5 beside the nurses' station.
Continuity mistake: Responding to the elevator call, in the overhead shot Squad 51 pulls up adjacent to the street awning when Gage and DeSoto get out, but in the next ground shot the squad is 20-25 feet farther down.
Visible crew/equipment: During the rescue at the construction accident, when the man with the back injury is hanging from his line and is lowered after Roy untangles the block, we can see that in addition to the rope wrapped around the man there's wire and support that go under the man's jumpsuit. The wire/support are gone once he's lying on the balcony and they remove the rope.

Other mistake: On scene at the "possible electrocution", when John is on the raised snorkel waiting for the power to be cut, we hear the worker who is up on the utility pole whistling to grab his co-worker's attention, but the subtitles read that it's John who whistles. Continuity mistake: While Roy and John are at the boatyard searching for the girl's severed hand, when they walk into the mess of lumber neither of them can be seen in the other one's closeup, even though they both start looking around in the same spot, at precisely the same time.
Visible crew/equipment: During Squad 51's rescue of the hunter who was injured on the cliff, in the closeups of Copter 10's pilot, at the right upper corner of the screen above the windshield, we can see the edge of the white screen used to block the view through the windshield.
Continuity mistake: When Johnny finds the looter's leather bag with the stolen jewelry, the bag's large front flap goes from being flipped open facing Johnny to the opposite way, between shots.

Other mistake: When Johnny and Roy are with the man who was electrocuted in his house, after they start the IV, Johnny says that he's going to get blankets, so he walks out the door then turns left and walks off. It's funny because the squad is parked on the street, which is to the right of the door, and the only thing to the left is the garage. Then Johnny comes back, again from the left of the doorway, with a package of the yellow blanket from the squad.

Revealing mistake: After Squad 51 is dispatched to the 'electrocution in a house', while Johnny goes to the garage to turn off the power, Roy waits at the doorway to go inside to the victim. In this interior shot facing the doorway, we see what is supposed to be the brick chimney at the side of the house next door, and the top of that set is visible. Plus the fact that this chimney is not nearly as deep as the one they passed by in the exterior shot.
Other mistake: When Station 51 is dispatched to the industrial fire, once they arrive there are a few shots of the crowd of bystanders, many in their robes. This footage is from the first episode "The Wedsworth-Townsend Act", during the factory fire at the start of the episode.
Visible crew/equipment: When Roy and Johnny are with the teenage girl who OD'd, Roy walks over to the bystanders, and when he speaks to the mother and daughter, the perpendicular actors' marks are visible on the ground where they stand.
Continuity mistake: When the guys are dispatched to the cardiac patient stuck in the elevator, Gage leaves the mop and bucket in the middle of the floor in the apparatus bay and rushes to the squad, but when they roll out the bay floor is clear.
Continuity mistake: When Roy and Johnny get to the airport and start talking to the boy flying the plane, the clock reads 11:55, but when Frankie puts the oxygen mask on his father it's 12:15, then when Roy reassures the boy about flying straight and level, it's 12:40, and so on, even though it's really supposed to be only a few minutes between these shots.

Continuity mistake: When Dixie and Johnny reach the overturned car at the cliff, the bumper on the car goes from shiny to mud encrusted, and the amount of branches, etc that covered the car decreases significantly, by the time the car falls over the cliff.
Visible crew/equipment: When the babysitter runs into Rampart carrying the boy, both Dixie and Brackett are standing at the nurses' station talking and an actor's white T-mark is visible at Dixie's feet.
Visible crew/equipment: Just as Dixie lets the unconscious teenager's parents walk into the ER treatment room, the actor's T-mark is visible on the floor behind Gage's legs, a moment before Brackett stands at the mark.
Visible crew/equipment: When Early and Brackett try to deal with the elderly group who want to see their friend, as the group walk away toward the waiting room, two actors' T-marks are visible on the floor, one of them is at Dixie's feet, the other beside her.
Visible crew/equipment: When Brackett and Early are in Rampart's staff lounge discussing J.P. Dumont, Brackett agrees to let Early use his charm in the case, and when Early stands up an actor's small T-mark is visible on the floor, where Brackett was standing moments earlier.

Visible crew/equipment: After rescuing the man trapped at the chemical plant, DeSoto and Gage walk into Rampart and when Gage walks up the hallway with Ellen, the actor's black tape mark is visible on the floor, where Gage stops to flirt with the nurse.
