Cook's Tour - S1-E4

Visible crew/equipment: At Rampart, after the baby's birth, when Gage and DeSoto walk over to Dixie, the first actor's T-mark is visible on the floor just before Gage stands there, and a second actor's mark is visible under the stool, where DeSoto will be seated in a moment.

Botulism - S1-E3

Continuity mistake: Just as Gage and DeSoto walk into Rampart's staff lounge, while discussing practical jokes, DeSoto is holding the handy-talkie in his right hand, but in the next shot the handy-talkie has vanished.

Mascot - S1-E2

Visible crew/equipment: When Dr. Bracket leaves the treatment room with Jenny, who's being wheeled in the wheelchair, he tells her to see her family doctor just as Dixie exits the door, and the shadow of the moving boom mic is visible on the wall, at the top to the left.

Mascot - S1-E2

Visible crew/equipment: When Dr. Bracket and Dixie begin to explain to Jenny that she was only hyperventilating, as she sits down in the wheelchair, the actor's tape mark is visible on the floor by the door, just before Dr. Bracket walks over and stands on it.

Dealer's Wild - S1-E6

Continuity mistake: When Gage plays the new game of poker with Kelly, the entire left side of the table is visible as the two begin. Next shot, DeSoto is suddenly sitting at that end, with an additional cup and saucer, opposite Kelly and Gage.

The Wedsworth-Townsend Act - S1-E1

Visible crew/equipment: When 127's snorkel is raised to rescue the man who was electrocuted atop a utility pole, as he's being loaded, in the first closeup within the snorkel, we can notice two things. We can see someone wearing denim at the left of the screen between 127's guy and Johnny, and we also see the ground past Johnny's head. Then as the snorkel is still being lowered, in the shot from the same POV, once again at the left we see that crew member wearing denim, who is outside the snorkel basket, and also see the ground, but the ground has not changed. This reveals that these two closeups were shot at ground level.

Hang-Up - S1-E11

Other mistake: When the tones drop and the lights come on, waking up 51's guys in the middle of the night for the industrial fire, there are two closeups of the guys putting their feet into the boots and pulling up their turnout trousers. The problem is that the closeups are not Station 51's guys - note the beds, linens, walls, floor are all different. The two closeup shots are from the first episode "The Wedsworth-Townsend Act", and the guys are from Station 10.

Dealer's Wild - S1-E6

Continuity mistake: When Frankie lands the Cessna, the red seatbelt is in place behind him. When Gage and DeSoto reach the plane that seatbelt has been pulled across the side wall, over the door, with its end pushed between the windshield and ceiling. Done deliberately so Gage can enter that door unhindered.

Dealer's Wild - S1-E6

Deliberate mistake: At the station, Gage is washing dishes and talking about his idea for a new poker game. In this shot the camera is positioned behind the kitchen's top/lower cabinets and sink, facing Gage. The fact that we can see the back side of the cabinetry (paper towel dispenser which hangs over sink is gone) ruins the illusion of this POV from the wall that should be there.

Hang-Up - S1-E11

Other mistake: When Station 51 is dispatched in the middle of the night to the industrial fire, the dispatcher says "Time out 1:07," but later at Rampart after Brackett tells Johnny to stay the rest of the night because of the exposure to the radiation, we hear the voice on the PA announce, "Visiting hours are over" even though it's supposed to be at least 3:00 AM.

Trainee - S2-E8

Roy: I think you're on some sort of an ego trip, Ed. And in my book that makes you a very dangerous character.
Ed: [Laughs.] Ego trip, huh? Well, I didn't realize that psychiatry was part of the paramedic's training.
Roy: Oh that's good, Ed, you be funny. But that isn't gonna change anything. You wanna know what I figure? Well, I figure when you were working in Vietnam, it was rough. So rough you started playing over your head. And you were making it, you were doing real good. Considering it was a combat situation. And pretty soon you started getting all blown up about how Ed Marlowe is just as good as the real doctors. And you've been living on that ever since. And the trouble is, Ed, you are good. Except for two little problems. You can't quit competing with real doctors. And you can't face being wrong. You see, those people we treat out there, I mean the people we work for, the people who pay for this whole operation, they're real people, Ed, with real problems. And they have a right to expect more than just being used by you for some sort of trip. [Completely exasperated.] I guess what I'm trying to say to you, Ed, is that in my book you're just plain unprofessional.
[Ed walks out.]
John: Do you think it did any good?
Roy: Do you?
