Empty Planet - S2-E8
Other mistake: In Empty Planet where the exploded bus is shown, there is an evidence marker with blood spatters on it. The blood wouldn't be there if the marker was placed after the event had occurred.
Other mistake: When Stephen looks at his phone you can see the phone charging symbol even though the phone he's holding isn't charging. (00:06:53)
Character mistake: In the meeting room, there's a clear spelling mistake of "Manditory" in bold letters on the whiteboard behind Gideon. Flashes up there several times during the scene. (00:16:00)
Visible crew/equipment: You can see a crewmember's hand as she runs through the tunnels. (00:24:57)
Continuity mistake: When Gideon, Morgan, Reid and Greenaway are watching Hotch interrogating the suspect Tony Canardo there is a box on the table, then Hotch gets up and walks out of the room and the box on the table is gone. In the next shot on the TV the box has reappeared. (00:30:08)
Continuity mistake: When Gideon is talking when we first see him, the pictures behind him on the screen change instantly. It should be noted, that when we see the pictures change, there is the audible click and visual delay of a slide change which is not present on the instant change. (00:04:20)
Continuity mistake: Morgan gets a call from BAU and we see him holding his phone in one hand then two. (00:03:40)
Target Rich - S11-E7
Character mistake: When the unsub puts the lock on the woman's collar, he hooks it onto the part where a leash would go. She could easily take the collar off. Later, the lock is on a different hook that is pushed through the collar, so she would not be able to escape. (00:19:10 - 00:33:30)
Character mistake: When Reid and Rossi propose the theory that Kate knew Syd and Jimmy before her disappearance, and JJ expresses her skepticism, Rossi retorts "they're handsome, charming, 19." But while reviewing the case on the flight to Maryland, JJ mentions that the boys are both 20.
Continuity mistake: When the pregnant lady came in with her child saying her 8 year old Matthew was missing, JJ sits her down and says she has a niece who is 8. We later learn that JJ's only sibling was her sister who committed suicide and who didn't have any children.
Continuity mistake: When the thief tries to steal the truck and the owner is beating him up, the passenger window behind the driver breaks. When his daughter later gets into the truck, very briefly the window is not broken. Then the next shot shows her in the truck, the window is broken again.
Continuity mistake: The same flashback of Roslyn Jareau giving her necklace to JJ is shown twice, but their dialogue is slightly different the second time.
Continuity mistake: Reid moves his gun to his side after the militia tell him he is begging for someone to take it. You can see it after they send Morgan to the bar. One second it's on his side, the next second it's back in front off his hip like always. (00:23:15)
Continuity mistake: While George Foyet is stabbing Agent Hotchner, the knife is extending from the handle. The blood is at the top of the blade, and as he removes it, the blood moves to the bottom of the blade, while the top remains clean.
Audio problem: As Scott McCarty is shot there is no sound of a shot being fired, suggesting a silencer, however as the assailant's rifle is pulled inside the car you can see that the weapon has no silencer.
Revealing mistake: We see the jet at the end, and the shot is flipped. Note the serial number on the plane's engine. (00:38:05)
Continuity mistake: When Reid is asked if he plays ball, the way he holds the football changes between shots. In one shot he holds it in 2 hands and in another he holds it in one hand. (00:14:30)
Visible crew/equipment: When the camera zooms in on Adam's body near the start, there is a very brief shot of a crew member's hand in the top left hand corner of the screen. (00:02:35)
Revealing mistake: Just as Vincent gets tazered, you can see protective padding that he is wearing. This is not to be confused with his jacket. (00:25:10)
Answer: "The Boogeyman", s02e06. Spoiler alert: The kid is Jeffrey Charles and at that point he had already killed 3 other kids. Jefferey basically hated and resented other kids after his mother abandoned him and his father spent a lot of time with other children because of his job. Jeffery would lure kids Into the Woods and then beat them to death with his bat just because of hate, no particular "reason." The scene you're describing, Jefferey agrees to walk Tracy home when her "buddy" leaves her (at this point the FBI announced there's a serial killer on the loose and kids should walk with a buddy). Jeffrey gets mad at Tracy for walking too slow and for complaining, and he takes a swing at her, causing her to flee Into the Woods and have Jeffery chase her.
