Proof - S7-E2

Continuity mistake: When Cy sneaks into the house with the key under the mat, in the bedroom he picks up the triple gold frame with two photos of Matt with Lyla and one photo of young Lyla in the blue dress in the center frame, then he holds it to his face and places it back on the right side of the dresser. However, after Cy hears Lyla coming into the house, when she sees the underwear on the bedroom floor the frame on the right side of the dresser is now a double wood frame with only one of the same photos seen earlier.

Suggested correction: Though it may look like it, there is no mistake during the scene with the phone conversation between the Dolan and Rossi. It is actually a deceptive trick on Dolan's part. Dolan answers the phone call on an iPhone, but during the phone conversation, Dolan moves from the warehouse, to the FBI headquarters, hence the music to cover the sound of his movements. In order of his to move positions and still stay on the phone, he has a pair of police radios. He places one by the phone, and takes the other with him and talks through the radio. This means that he talks into the radio, which the other radio picks up, then the iPhone can pick up the conversation, thus it appears that he has not moved positions. This is interpreted as a mistake by viewers, though it is not.

Run - S7-E24

Continuity mistake: The clock on the bomb's secondary timer doesn't match with reality while Prentiss is trying to defuse it - going from 15 seconds to 10 too slowly, then skipping the final few seconds so it can end on 1 second remaining.

Factual error: While JJ and Will might have exchanged "commitment vows" with a willing officiant, they could not have actually married in the time frame given for multiple reasons. The bank robbery occurred on a Saturday and the proposal was that evening at the hospital, with a stated intention to go down to the court Monday to wed. Instead, Rossi and Will set it up for the next evening, which was Sunday. The following is taken from Washington, D.C.'s marriage information site: 1) the court offices that issue licenses are only open M-F; 2) there is a mandated three day waiting period between obtaining the license and performing the ceremony; 3) there is a ten advance notice required to arrange a civil ceremony through the court office. Therefore, the earliest they could be legally wed would be on Thursday with a license and a private ceremony, while a civil ceremony would actually have taken an additional week. As for JJ's "lets get married tonight", I can't see any hospital chaplain obliging.
