Continuity mistake: The camera pans across a line of several anime plushies. When the shot then goes wide, several of the plushies have either been re-arranged or removed completely, including a pink plush and the Kyogre plush. It also seems as though there are two Miroku plushies in the scene as well, one near the middle and one off to the side of the left pillow. (00:04:10)

Continuity mistake: When Gibbs and the team meet the sheriff and ask to be shown the crime scene, he states that it was in the Edenvale motel room 8. Continuity mistake: While Tony and Ziva are outside Ziva's hotel eating pizza, Ziva is eating the pizza in one shot with the slice in the shot, in the shot directly before this and directly after, the pizza is no where to be found and she is no longer chewing.
Continuity mistake: When Tony spots Wilkerson's car in the mall's garage, in the first closeup of the Jetta the trunk has neither the Jetta badge nor the VW emblem, but in following shots both the Jetta badge and VW emblem are attached to the trunk. (00:14:55 - 00:16:55)
Continuity mistake: When Abby walks into the lab carrying the box with the Beretta Cougar she is barehanded, and two shots later she's wearing her latex gloves as she reaches for the bullet, but next shot she's barehanded again as she picks up the bullet to show Gibbs. Then, when Abby thanks Gibbs for getting her out of the sensitivity training, the latex gloves suddenly reappear, but they disappear in the next shot. (00:12:10)
Continuity mistake: When Gibbs meets with Tom Morrow at the dinner, Tom asks Gibbs if he is going to upgrade to a smart phone. Gibbs opens his phone, the shot changes and his phone is now closed. (00:15:15)
Continuity mistake: When Gibbs has the Mafia boss against the car, his arm is across the Mafia guy's chest. Camera cuts and now it is right next to his neck. (00:34:50)
Continuity mistake: Just after Fornell is arrested, the agents are showing NCIS their surveillance of the mafia. When doing so, the headset on the one agent changes position instantly. (00:22:00)
Continuity mistake: The amount of sandwich Tony has eaten when Abby is being hacked is constantly changing instantly. (00:13:00)
Continuity mistake: The banana peel on DiNozzo's index finger, healing his owie, moves to his thumb in one shot. (00:12:00)
Continuity mistake: When Tony enters the NCIS interrogation room with Fornell, he sits down and places his bag of potato chips on the table. In the next shot, the bag has disappeared, he removes it from his jacket pocket, and places it on the table again. (00:25:15)
Continuity mistake: When Gibbs stops Sgt. Roberts from killing his neighbor, he holds out his ID badge. His hand jumps from the top of the wallet to the bottom, then back to the top. (00:31:20)
Continuity mistake: When Aaron Wright lights his cigarette in the NCIS elevator, he takes it out of his mouth to blow out a puff of smoke. His arm remains down by his side, but in the next shot his cigarette is instantly up in his mouth. (00:29:10)

Continuity mistake: Agent Todd is standing there coat open, hands in her pockets on Air Force One watching Gibbs walk away when the bad guy who is a reporter (Leonard) comes up to her and comments "Loosening your dress code Kate". Seconds later when she turns to indicate that he should return to the press section her coat is now buttoned up. (00:33:50)
