Doctor Who

Silence in the Library (1) - S4-E8

Continuity mistake: After Miss Evangelista is killed, we see her communicator as her "ghost" slowly fades. In one shot we see from a slight distance the lights left lit tick down to 3, then a short while passes, we cut back and the lights are back to 4. They then tick down to 3 again.

Silence in the Library (1) - S4-E8

Visible crew/equipment: While the Doctor tries to get into the data core (after Proper Dave tried) it cuts to the telephone still ringing, and when the young girl asks her dad why he's not answering the phone, just as he tells her that the phone is not ringing the boom mic dips into view at the top of the screen.

Continuity mistake: When the girl recognizes the Doctor on her TV, telling him that he was in her library, and he reacts, the position of her pencil crayon in her hand changes between shots.

Revealing mistake: Also applying to the second episode of the two-parter, "Forest of the Dead": The keyboards on the Library's computer terminals are very obviously standard Apple keyboards - this in an episode set in the 52nd century.

Doctor: So, that's the trap. Or the test or the final judgment, I don't know. But if I kill you, I kill her. Except that implies, in this big grand scheme of Gods and Devils, that she's just a victim. But I've seen a lot of this universe. I've seen fake gods and bad gods and demi-gods and would-be gods - out of all that - out of that whole pantheon - if I believe in one thing... Just one thing... I believe in her.

Trivia

"Torchwood" is an anagram for Doctor Who. Russell T Davies came up with it during the filming of Series 1 to label the tapes in order to prevent theft and potential leakage, and decided to use the name in the show proper.
