Continuity mistake: The third years in this series were first years in series two.
Other mistake: When Hudson is briefing the girls' football team he calls Mel Sarah, mixing up the character name (Mel) and actress (Sarah Lawrence).
Visible crew/equipment: When the minibus arrives at the running track the camera crew are reflected in the windows.
Field Trip - S6-E6
Continuity mistake: When Roland plays his tape recorder on the coach, the woman on the tape says "lightest lemon sponge I've ever tasted - she used to bake, yes I remember, mind you she worked hard that woman..." But in the cafe Roland didn't start recording until she said "mind you she worked hard..."
Continuity mistake: The police say Ronnie won't have a criminal record. Mrs McClusky then says it will be off her record at 17.
Continuity mistake: Mrs McClusky drives into the school car park and stops to talk to Danny. There is a blue Ford Escort and a yellow Ford Fiesta parked in the first row of the car park. The angle changes when Banksie arrives on his motorbike, and the two cars have gone; there is now an orange Mini and a green Fiat parked in their spaces. (00:01:38 - 00:02:02)
Continuity mistake: Mrs McClusky drives into the school car park; there is a red Vauxhall Cavalier and a gold Vauxhall Nova parked outside the school. The angle changes when Roland walks in and talks to Danny; there is now a red VW Golf and a white Morris Marina parked where the two Vauxhalls were. The angle changes again when Banksie arrives on his motorbike; there is now a white Citroën parked where the red Golf was. (00:01:05 - 00:01:56)
Continuity mistake: When Mr Griffiths is driving back to school in the van after picking up Harriet, he takes a right turn. The angle changes to Ziggy and Robbie running on the pavement beside the van, a beige Vauxhall Cavalier turning left, and a lawn mower on the grass verge that should have been in the previous shot but weren't. (00:18:39)
Other mistake: At the disco when "Blue Monday" by New Order is being played, the subtitles wrongly state that the song is "You Spin Me Round (Like a Record)" by Dead or Alive.
Visible crew/equipment: The overhead mic is in shot at the top of the screen when Dudley stops talking to Dennis to look at Dawn as she enters the classroom.
Visible crew/equipment: The overhead mic is in shot during Mr Mcguffy's English lesson.
Episode #3.2 - S3-E2
Visible crew/equipment: In Miss Miles' class, the boom mic is in shot at the top of the screen.
Visible crew/equipment: When Denny is talking to Mr McGuffy, the front of a camera is visible on the right of the screen. (00:14:45)
Paper Chase - S6-E11
Visible crew/equipment: When Suzanne is talking to Mr McGuffy in the corridor, the overhead mic is in shot.
Audio problem: During the rehearsal for the revue, Miss Griffiths plays the piano while Mr. McGuffy is directing Claire and Pogo dancing. Miss Griffiths stops playing the piano and takes her hands off the keyboard, but the piano music is still playing.
