Suggested correction: The episode was broadcast in 1984, but the early episodes are set at the beginning of the school year, which is in September. So it's perfectly plausible this takes place in late 1983.

Episode #4.15 - S4-E15

Plot hole: Doyle steals Alan's judo suit when he inadvertently leaves it in the corridor. Doyle tells Robo that he will leave it in the bike sheds overnight and will sell it to Junky Mead tomorrow. The next day Tucker arrives at school having bought the suit and says he saw it in Junky Mead's shop yesterday and bought it on his way in to school that morning.

Suggested correction: It's not the next day.

Episode #12.13 - S12-E13

Factual error: On the coach when the camera is on Miss Booth you can see out the window a road sign saying 5 miles to Hatfield and 15 miles to Stevenage. Grange Hill school is set in North London and they are on their way to the Field Trip on the Isle of Wight via Portsmouth ferry terminal - the coach is heading the wrong way as both these towns are in Hertfordshire, which is north of London, and Portsmouth is on the south coast of England.

Suggested correction: Correct in theory, but in a large, densely populated urban area it would make sense to go towards the faster motorways which, depending on where in North London, would be the Northbound M1 and M25 (the latter goes round Greater London) than go completely in the right direction which would take longer as it means going 10 miles through urban areas and thus take a lot longer.

Episode #26.1 - S26-E1

Factual error: Shannon asks Leah if she knows what happened to Tom Smith - she replies that Tom has gone to university, but in the previous series Tom was only in his first year of sixth form, and it takes at least two years in the sixth form to study for the A levels required for a university place.

Suggested correction: Although normally A-levels are taken after 2 years, it is possible (and often done) to study them in one year.

Episode #15.19 - S15-E19

Plot hole: Chrissy is pushing her baby Jay in her pram into the school playground. Justine and Luke call out to her from an upstairs window, then come out to meet Chrissy. They come down from an upstairs floor to the playground in five seconds, which is not enough time.

Suggested correction: This might be a mistake, but it's not really a plot hole. The plot of the episode isn't broken because two characters travel a short distance too quickly. The time they take isn't a key part of the plot; it has no impact on anything.

Episode #6.12 - S6-E12

Plot hole: Gripper, Woody, and Randir are suspended from school for two weeks after their involvement in the fight. Woody and Randir appear in the next episode, but Gripper doesn't return until episode 14.

Field Trip - S6-E6

Continuity mistake: When Roland plays his tape recorder on the coach, the woman on the tape says "lightest lemon sponge I've ever tasted - she used to bake, yes I remember, mind you she worked hard that woman..." But in the cafe Roland didn't start recording until she said "mind you she worked hard..."
