When he says this, Crockett raises his hand to his mouth so that he can smoke a cigarette. When the shot cuts, Crockett's hand is away from his face and then raises his hand to his face again. Continuity mistake: When Tubbs hands the bartender a photo, Crockett removes a cigarette from his mouth and begins to put it out using the ash tray. The shot then cuts to focus on the bartender, and Crockett's hand is suddenly near his mouth again before lowering it. (00:10:15)
Continuity mistake: When Crockett rushes to help Lou after he is shot, he puts his left hand on Lou's right hand. But in the next shot, his left hand is on Lou's right shoulder. (00:22:52)
Continuity mistake: When Crockett is speaking with Lou on the boat, he is putting on a shirt. The shirt is shown to cover more than half of his abdomen in the first shot of him, but when he is shown from the perspective of Ludovici's sniper rifle, the shirt covers only his upper chest. (00:22:16)

Continuity mistake: When the Jamaicans are firing at the van that Crockett and Tubbs are in, there is one shot where the machine gun is held at a tilted angle. When the shot cuts, the machine gun is upright. (00:03:15)

Visible crew/equipment: Crockett and Tubbs force the owner of a boat to drive them to a meet-up with the bad guy. When the boat is sailing out of the harbour, the shadows of the camera crew can be seen cast on the side of the boat. (01:26:45)

Continuity mistake: When Tubbs is on the phone in his hotel room, there is a briefcase filled with money on the bed. The briefcase is open, but after he hangs up the phone, the briefcase is closed before he opens it again. (00:27:30)

Continuity mistake: When Tubbs is in his hotel room, there is a shot where the camera pans across the bed, where a newspaper can be seen on the pillow next to the nightstand. But in the next shot, when Tubbs walks up to the phone, the newspaper on the pillow has changed position. (00:27:13)
Audio problem: When Charlie slaps Callie across her face, Charlie misses by several inches and the slap sound isn't heard until after Charlie completes the arc of the slap.
Continuity mistake: Crockett and Tubbs are in his original black Daytona Ferrari. That car was destroyed in the first episode of season 3 and they received the white Ferrari Testarossa in episode 2.
Down for the Count (2) - S3-E13
Visible crew/equipment: When Crockett, Tubbs and Switek enter the mall at the end of the episode to prevent the hit on Guzman, Philip Michael Thomas has been replaced with an older looking stunt double who tries his best not to have his face in shot by immediately taking cover. In the next scenes in the mall, Tubbs has disappeared completely.
The Prodigal Son (1 & 2) - S2-E1
Factual error: When Crockett takes out the hitmen in the nightclub, he fires 13 shots from his Detonics CombatMaster without reloading, when it has a maximum capacity of 6.
Revealing mistake: At the end when Tubbs shoots a man that is using his wife as a hostage, there is no muzzle or blast coming out of the gun.
Cool Runnin' - S1-E3
Continuity mistake: According to the ballistics report, the Jamaican hitters use "Interarms" (instead of Interdynamic) KG-99 submachine guns. However, the lead thug actually uses a Smith & Wesson M76, and his cohorts Jimmy & Winston use Star Z70s.
