Through The Looking Glass (2) - S3-E23

Factual error: When Charlie is in the small communications room of the underwater base, after the grenade blows out the window and the water is rushing in. The water would only come up to the top of the window, anything above that would be an air pocket and water would not go any higher, yet it got completely filled over Charlie's head. (00:30:00)

Catch-22 - S3-E17

Continuity mistake: Episode 3-17: Juliet is shown crawling out of the sub. You see a side street where she is crawling over an uneven area to a dock about four feet away from her. When the shot pulls back, the dock is nowhere near her - she was crawling on a different dock.

Further Instructions - S3-E3

Continuity mistake: After picking up Eddy the hitchhiker, John and his passenger can be seen driving through a compound. Left Behind - S3-E15

Character mistake: Kate's car is shown being towed, because, according to the tow-truck driver, "your fan belt is shot" The car in the scene is a 1988 to 1994 Buick Regal 2dr, which came with 2 engine options, a 3.1L and a 3.8l v6, both transversal engines. So, there could not be a "fan belt" on that car, as the pair of radiator fans on it were electrical. In any case, "your drive belt is shot" would have been the correct term to use, to describe the specific belt failure on that car. (00:02:19)

Par Avion - S3-E12

Factual error: The neurosurgeon introduces himself as "Doctor" Woodruff and also has this written on his coat. In Australia, where this scene is set, surgeons are always addressed and referred to as "Mister" after the British fashion.

Season 1 generally

Question: When Claire is pregnant with her baby, her belly looks very realistic. Does anyone know how they make it look so real?

Answer: Using a mold, a realistic pregnancy belly is made of latex (rubber), including the distinct belly button, to suit the proportions of Emilie de Ravin who plays Claire. It is then painted with a special paint/adhesive compound that adheres to the surface and for shots of the actual belly, additional veining and stretch marks are airbrushed on.
