Correction: It's a joke to show how seriously Squidward is taking the snowball fight. (Patrick even says so).

Correction: Its not likely they would play to a group of humans either but many of the physical limitations in Spongebob are not observed so its not impossible to believe the ocean is underneath this football stadium.

Lummie

Correction: It might be that some parts of the house have thicker and thicker walls, so that the interior has corners, while the exterior is circular. I have an attic, where from the outside it looks like it should have a ceiling that is 'pointed' upwards, but is actually a normal looking room. So basically in Spongebob's house, an overheard shot minus the roof might look like a rectangle (or many rectangles) in a circle. (Another thing - the hallway that contains two sets of stairs opposite each other that spiral down and lead to the kitchen IS circular/cylindrical).

Correction: Plankton only has control when he is using the controls whilst inside Spongebob. Throughout the scene Spongebob has some control but not enough to get away. With Plankton out of his mind he regained full control of himself.

Lummie

Correction: There wasn't anything to suggest there was only the one theatre inside so the other people could be from the other theatres inside or even people in the building but not in the cinema. Even if there was only one theatre the number of people would have mostly likely deliberately been increased by the director to show how bad the situation was.

Big Pink Loser / Bubble Buddy - S2-E3

Corrected entry: Spongebob shrinks down after Patrick's suggestions to get an award. When Spongebob shrinks down and says "The smallest you can think of", his voice is high-pitched, but when Spongebob agrees with Patrick's suggestion about a job at the Krusty Krab, his voice is normal. It should be tiny until he grows back.

Correction: It is quite possible that Spongebob put on the high voice intentionally, and then decided to use his normal voice again.

Correction: He's representing the Krusty Krab.

shorty30490

Correction: This happens in animated shows plenty of times. These characters are 'stock' characters, and aren't at all useful to the plot, and are therefore used more often than characters that actually have bigger parts. This is not a mistake - however, if someone such as Pearl or Larry were to be 'duplicated', that would be a mistake, because they actually have recurring and speaking parts.

Jellyfish Hunters / The Fry Cook Games - S2-E16

Corrected entry: In "The Frycook Games," when they make jokes involving the audience, (such as when that one section gets turned into fish sticks) look around at all of the audience members. Many of the same fish are in there twice, or more.

Correction: Well illustrators often use stock characters for their animated shows, and these fish are just 'extras' and can therefore be 'duplicated' in the audience. For example, the fish with the British accent (as in Band Geeks), often shows up in many different parts, as well as the brown fish that had a song in the episode about Jelly Patties. It's not a mistake, because the illustrators do this on purpose. However, it would be strange if some main-er and more unique (such as Larry the Lobster and Mrs. Puff) characters were 'duplicated'.

New Student Starfish / Clams - S3-E14

Corrected entry: In "Clams," after they've been searching for the Clam for I think three days, Squidward has grown a beard and head of hair. But in other episodes, he's upset because he's bald. If he can grow hair, then why did he rip it all out?

Correction: This was used to show how irrational Mr. Krabs was being about how long they would have to stay out there and find the clam.

Correction: This is because SpongeBob had been up all night and was going to bed. When people go to bed even during the day they will say goodnight out of habit of saying the phrase when they go to sleep.

Correction: Spongebob never said he didn't have the fifty cents he just didn't remember which pocket that he put it in and while searching for it he kept hitting the bus driver with his balloon and out of frustration the driver tells him to forget it.

Correction: Patrick's rock itself is never hollow but on occasion the ground underneath is dug out.

Correction: Squidward was actually cleaning it up, that's what the piece of cloth he is holding in his other hand is for. Although Squidward is not happy to work at the Krusty Krab, he is far too proud and too vain to insult himself in such a manner. Also, don't forget that Squidward is not very popular, so most likely the graffiti was from somebody else.

Show generally

Corrected entry: Sandy has a suit on when she's walking around Bikini Bottom. On the square on the suit, it either has 3 dots OR an acorn. Does it change by itself?

Correction: Sandy probably has 2 suits.

Correction: "Christmas Who?" is actually a flashback - Patchy the Pirate, in the present, is telling the story of Bikini Bottom's first Christmas. Therefore, the time that Patrick learns about Christmas could have actually occurred sometime before the story in "Jellyfishing", thus explaining Patrick's knowledge of the holiday.

Correction: This is true, but his eyelashes were missing also, so it's more of an error in the animation.

Correction: It doesn't effect his nose, it effects his eyes and mouth.

Show generally

Corrected entry: Spongebob is repeatedly referred to, as a square, when in actual fact, the largest surface area on Spongebob which holds his face, is an irregular trapezium.

Correction: Well that would hardly sound as good in the theme song, would it? He is actually a cuboid, but I assume they're trying to keep the shapes simple so kids can understand it - it is a kids' show after all.

Besides, people don't refer to SB himself but his trousers, hence the name "Spongebob Squarepants."

Your Shoe's Untied / Squid's Day Off - S2-E2

Corrected entry: In "Your Shoe's Untied," Spongebob comes into the Krusty Krab and says "I can't let Patrick see that I still haven't tied my shoes." Patrick and other customers are eating. But Spongebob is the only Krusty Krab frycook, so how could they be eating if he wasn't there.

Correction: In the episode "Just One Bite" we see that the restaurant has a Patty Vault in which they keep ready-to-serve Krabby Patties. We can assume that even if they don't have SpongeBob to cook patties, they do have some ready-made ones that they can simply get out and serve to the customers.

Suggested correction: The pencil is sitting to the right of the paper the entire time. It's hard to notice at first, but it's there.

Mr. Krabs: Alright, Plankton! It's Eugene Krabs, here, with, What's-His-Name! Now come on out!

Mr. Krabs: Come on outside, and take what's coming to you!
Plankton: I really can't come outside!
SpongeBob: Why not?
Plankton: Because I'm already out here, you bumbling bottom feeders! Open your eyes for crying out loud!

Question: There was supposedly one episode that ended with SpongeBob, Patrick, Squidward, and Mr. Krabs all laughing in a boat. The laughing then silences, eventually to a stop. Then SpongeBob, Patrick, and Mr. Krabs walk out of the boat, and Squidward eventually walks out too. Which episode is this?

Answer: I believe this is the Season 6 episode "Spongicus".
