No Free Rides / I'm Your Biggest Fanatic - S2-E10

Corrected entry: SpongeBob grabs the car after Ms Poff steals his boat. After a while, an "Educative television" sing appears that stops SpongeBob. There's a shot of Ms. Poff hearing SpongeBob screaming because of the television. But SpongeBob is in the radio area at the time. How can he be in two places at the same time?

Correction: We hear his voice becoming fainter as Puff drives on and just before she turns on the radio we don't hear him screaming anymore.

Correction: The likely reason is that Sandy's dome had no air movement or moisture. For example if you had a wet towel it will dry much quicker in a glass enclosure than just outside in the sun. Being on the surface they wouldn't have dried out as quickly and they were only there for less than a minute. In Sandy's dome they were there for a much longer period.

SB-129 / Karate Choppers - S1-E14

Corrected entry: Squidward goes into the past and shows how to catch claims. When he returns into the present, he asks who invented that game of catching claims. SpongeBob and Patrick answer with the truth, Squidward was the one that invented it. However, how can SpongeBob and Patrick know this, if more than a million years have passed? It's impossible that the SpongeBob and Patrick of the past told everybody that Squidward invented that game and the story survived a million years, making SpongeBob to know that Squidward was the inventor.

Correction: The most likely theory is that the information of what Squidward looked like was passed on over generations. In the scene they don't say Squidward's name but when asked who created the game they say "You are!". That didn't mean Squidward's name was passed on over time but his image would have been and two and two together they linked it to being Squidward.

Correction: They don't EAT the snow to survive, they realise the snow is just water when they eat it. Sandy's treedome was uninhabitable to sealife because there was no water and the sun dried them out. The cold of the snow meant they didnt need their helmets filled with water to survive.

Your Shoe's Untied / Squid's Day Off - S2-E2

Corrected entry: In 'Your Shoe's Untied', Spongebob inches along the kitchen of the Krusty Krab to hand the patty to Squidward. You can see from the background that he moves past a box of patties, and even farther (judging by the time he takes), yet he remains in the same spot. I understand that it's for comedic effect, but it still doesn't make any sense.

Correction: The entire time we only see Spongebob's expression, and presumably what he was thinking. In other words he believed he had was right next to Squidward. When he tries to hand the patty he is no where near and Squidward yells "I'm over here now move!" indicating Spongebob thought he was closer than he actually was.

Hall Monitor / Jellyfish Jam - S1-E7

Corrected entry: In "Jellyfish Jam" when Squidward calls Spongebob's house, a jellyfish answers, and Squidward yells in the phone saying, "square headed assault on my ears."(referring to SB). How come he was trying to talk to SB if he heard the jellyfish buzz, "Hello?"

Correction: Squidward hardly pauses to wait and see if it's Spongebob. He immediately starts yelling at him as soon as its picked up. Besides he may not be able to tell with the noise that it was jellyfish buzz to begin with.

Your Shoe's Untied / Squid's Day Off - S2-E2

Corrected entry: In 'Your Shoe's Untied', Spongebob slams his feet into the floorboards so that Patrick couldn't see that his shoes were still untied. He drags his feet along under the floor. How could he walk with his feet under the floor, if he can't even walk normally?

Correction: Simple, he was shuffling his shoes. When he stomps his shoes into the floarboards he never lifts them again and just slowly moves forward. Like in the kitchen later on he was trying to shuffle his feet.

Correction: The whole reason she started crying was she was woken up by the peanut and had just found her egg missing. Clamu must have still been asleep when Krabs stole the egg meaning she didn't know it was missing. Spongebob throwing the peanut just woke her up and her distressed look was realising her egg had gone.

Correction: The cloud around Spongebob is probably only meant to show that now Patrick has bad breath, therefore there wouldn't be any real reason to have it reflect.

Something Smells / Bossy Boots - S2-E1

Corrected entry: When Pearl tells Spongebob to remove the buns, patties and condiments from the Krabby Patty, Spongebob states that only left the tomatoes and lettuce. Yet in many other episodes, like "Pickles", the Krabby Patty also has onions and pickles, which are not counted as condiments.

Correction: Maybe they are not but onions and pickles are not normally used in salads anyway. Also pickles and onions seems to frequently not be shown on Krabby Patties in the show. Many of the episodes you never see the pickles and onions in the burgers even when they are made. So in theory its possible he didnt foget those items, they were just never there (onions and pickles) to begin with.

Show generally

Corrected entry: Here's some sad news...I heard Spongebob is cancelled. The last episode will air in January 2005, based on what I've heard. For more info, you might want to follow this URL: http://www.tvtome.com/SpongeBobSquarePants/.

Correction: Those were the rumors a few months ago, but now it's officially not. A source says there will be twenty episodes in 2005, so it probably won't be cancelled anytime soon.

Chocolate With Nuts / Mermaid Man And Barnacle Boy V - S3-E11

Corrected entry: In Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy V, Barnacle Boy says he is 68 years old. However, in the previous "Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy" episode, when Spongebob finds Mermaid Man's Belt, Spongebob mentions for 60 years it's been used to help protect. Although Barnacle Boy is Mermaid Man's sidekick (and a sidekick is usually younger), 8 years of age seems a little young to be a sidekick.

Correction: Actually while it may seem inconcievable, in the episode "Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy II" Mermaid Man talks about an young apprentice he once had who was as eager as Spongebob. Mermaid Man then holds up an photo of Barnacle Boy as a toddler in nappies. It could be then believed Barnacle Boy started training to be Mermaid Man's sidekick as soon as he was an appropriate age (in this case 8 years old).

Correction: This seems to be more of a deliberate mistake. In the shot the narrator says "and with some minor changes", and all that is different is the senior citizens have moved despite expecting to see major changes being as it was a retirement home. The joke is he didnt really do anything to change it just got rid of the old people and in the next shot put up a red K in front of the Rusty.

Lummie

Correction: Thats the joke, in the episode no matter where he throws the snowball he keeps missing Spongebob and Patrick and it keeps going onto his fireplace.

Lummie

Correction: There is nothing to indicate Gary wore those shoes all the time. In the episode "Your Shoe's untied" he was trying to show Spongebob he knew how to tie shoes and showed his own. Besides in that episode he also had a record player under his shell which wasn't there when the shell breaks.

Survival of the Idiots / Dumped - S2-E8

Corrected entry: When Patrick rips off some of Sandy's fur in "Survival of the Idiots," Spongebob says "Let me see that roll of tape." He shouldn't need to borrow it, though, because just a few moments earlier, he peeled some of the bark of Sandy's tree back and the sealed it with his own roll of tape. Patrick couldn't have borrowed Spongebob's, because his looked different from the one Spongebob used.

Correction: The tape Patrick uses is probably the one that Spongebob used to seal up the tree as we only saw one roll at a time. When they go to "steal" Sandy's fur Spongebob is ripping off her fur he is removing one hair of fur at a time, then Patrick becomes annoyed and uses the tape. The only difference from the tape Spongebob used to Patricks was the roller Spongebob used. Those rollers you have to put your own tape so Patrick might have just removed it from the roller.

Hall Monitor / Jellyfish Jam - S1-E7

Corrected entry: At the beginning of "Hall Monitor", Mrs. Puff says it's time to choose the Hall monitor of the day, leading us to the assumption that a new hall monitor is chosen every day. However, directly in the sentence afterward, she says she is choosing that week's hall monitor.

Correction: Mrs Puff never makes mention of it being only for the day. She says to begin with "Now its time to choose the new hall monitor". A few shots later she says "The new hall monitor for the week is.."

Lummie

Correction: Fish and creatures living in water still need oxygen. There is bubbles as the air needs to be supplied into the water like a fishtank needs a constant stream of air running into the water. Given the unrealism in this show anyway, it's not unbelievable that they could use the oxygen in their system to blow air through their instruments.

Lummie

Correction: It's a joke to show how seriously Squidward is taking the snowball fight. (Patrick even says so).

Correction: Its not likely they would play to a group of humans either but many of the physical limitations in Spongebob are not observed so its not impossible to believe the ocean is underneath this football stadium.
