The liquid would have dried overnight if it wasn't spilled out by the caterer collecting the glasses. No one would transport glassess full of liquid.
Corrected entry: Although the show takes place in Miami, very little of it is actually filmed here, most in done at Manhattan Beach, a suburb of Los Angeles in California. This is most evident when they have a beach scene. The large waves that you see on the beach are from the Pacific ocean. The waves in Miami are very small and nowhere near as large.
Correction: Actully I have been near Miami beach where alot of surfers like to ride these kinda waves, the further you go out the bigger they can get, and on some days like days with alot of wind they can reach "California" scale waves.
