The Sopranos

Pie-O-My - S4-E5

Revealing mistake: The high quality image of the footage of the show differs hugely with that of the footage of the horse races; revealing it's stock footage taken from a TV source, placed in the middle of the action.

Pie-O-My - S4-E5

Continuity mistake: Corrado is having breakfast with his right hand resting on the table close to a glass of orange juice. When the angle changes, a frame later, the juice is in his hand already close to his mouth.

Amour Fou - S3-E12

Continuity mistake: Towards the end of the episode Carmella is reading a book on real estate. When a close up of the book is shown, she is at the beginning of chapter 1, yet when the camera angle changes she is about halfway through the book.

Funhouse - S2-E13

Continuity mistake: When Artie visits Tony, he runs to the bathroom. Later in the scene, Artie and Carmela help Tony up to go to the bathroom, but Artie says, "Where're we headed?" as though he didn't know where the bathroom was.

Other mistake: The set up of Dr Melfi's office makes no sense. Her office is in a building with other doctors, yet there's windows on the right side of her office where another doctor's office is.

For All Debts Public and Private - S4-E1

Continuity mistake: When Tony Jr. reads the newspaper, his part of the table changes completely: The napkin changes position, the orange juice comes closer to his arm, the spoon in the bowl changes positions, and a mug in front is replaced for a load of papers. The position of his thumb also swaps from being beneath a photo, to on top of it depending on the angle.

Whitecaps - S4-E13

Character mistake: During an argument between Tony and Carmela, they mention her ring, given to her in earlier episode. They refer to it as an emerald. It is a sapphire.

Trivia: Whenever the mobsters in the Sopranos pay they almost always take a wad of cash out of their pocket and pull off the top 3-4 bills and hand it over. If Tony is paying for a pizza he pulls off 3-4 bills. If he's bribing someone he pulls off 3-4 bills. No matter what the amount is for that particular situation, it's always covered with the top 3-4 bills of the cash wad.

Christopher - S4-E3

Question: Was it Jimmy Altieri standing in the back of the crowd during the Columbus rally scene? He was killed in season one for being an FBI informant and here they probably used him as a stand in... If so, then that is some sort of mistake, because I think, it really is him. (00:15:50)

Answer: That's not Jimmy, just a look-a-like. Jimmy's short and stout, the guy in "Christopher" episode is tall and medium built. The hair is also different.
