Continuity mistake: When everyone is in the dining room after James Woods was killed, Derek and Jillian can be seen hugging each other a little bit, and Derek's left arm is missing.

Other mistake: When everyone is leaving the mansion after Stephanie was killed, 3 mistakes happen at the same time: Dr. Hartman came alone, but there is a person sitting in the front seat next to him. Derek is in the car he and Jillian came in when they got here, but he is alone. And Carl was getting into Herbert's Ice Cream Truck, which was in front of his own truck.

Continuity mistake: When we first see Joe's police car in his driveway, the lights on top of the car have the blue half on the driver side and the red half on the passenger side, later on in some scenes the red half is on the driver side while the blue half is on the passenger side.

Continuity mistake: Meg goes to the party wearing a mask without her glasses on. When she's in the closet, her mask is off and she has her glasses on, even though she didn't wear them to the party. (00:06:50)

Her costume had no pockets. It showed her leaving the house without her glasses.

Some people wear regular clothes under a costume in the event that it might have been cold. Rhode Island might be a bit cold at that time of year (I live in southern Canada and it can be very cold on Halloween) Maybe her glasses were in a pocket under the costume.

Other mistake: As Joe is driving up to the house, just before coming to a complete stop, you can see that his window is completely closed. After stopping, Peter says "Joe?" Joe says "Peter?" Joe's window is now fully open. Trouble is, Joe seems to be completely surprised by Peter standing there which implies he never saw Peter even after stopping. His window has mysteriously opened immediately. (00:04:05)

Continuity mistake: When Peter returns home from being hyped up on Red Bull, he has numerous cans in his arms. When he sees Stewie he immediately drops the cans on the floor but when the camera pulls back as he sits down with Stewie in his lap, the cans of Red Bull are nowhere to be seen.

Factual error: When Peter is on The Price is Right, Drew says he's the top winner of the day so he'll spin first. However, the top winner always spins last.

Continuity mistake: When Peter is eating dinner with Lois and her parents, on his plate there is mashed potatoes and meat loaf. Peter shovels potatoes in his mouth then spits them out all over the table. When his plate is shown again, the meat loaf has disappeared from the plate even though he didn't touch it.
